" The history suggests Cardiff City are set for relegation "

Only Peterborough (12/13) and Wycombe (20/21) have had less points than Cardiff after 7 Championship games... both went down.

Cardiff City also have the worst goal difference in Championship history after 7 games as well as being the joint record lowest scorers after 7 games.

This really is mad; our squad is surely better than this…? :?

For me, Bulut gone or not, the clearest issues are now rooted in the club’s people at the top…!

I appreciate it costs money just to keep us afloat; but the abject definition of doing the same thing over and over whilst expecting different results is our current ownership…! :banghead:

As we mature in life, the one thing you learn is that ‘there’s no time like the present’ and to keep ‘kicking the same stone down the same street’ is an absolute waste of the club’s time and the supporters…

Shape up or ship out please, Mr Tan et al; we need a proper manager and someone above him/her who knows how football works…! :ayatollah:

I've been supporting Cardiff City since the early nighties, Eddie May's barmy army days, I know a lot you have a lot longer but anyway. One think I've noticed is Cardiff City never go down without a fight, that's when our supporters raise it up. We need to start this fight now, we need a manager that can motivate the players and go to war. Starting to think we do need Neil Warnock back in this situation.

After 9 games last season Sheff Wednesday had just 2 points but still stayed up. They looked dead and buried. QPR also were down there with 8 points and stayed up. We are certainly going to be fighting relegation this year but it's not terminal just yet. It's how soon we can stop the rot? We need to stop losing games so even a draw at the stage can be helpful.

I would like to see Tony mowbray as our next manager at least until the end of the season.
Not even in the betting odds :o

There are no goals or pace in this team, no one attacks the ball at set plays.

The recruitment strategy of the last three or four seasons has come home to roost. We signed better players this summer but that was for Buluts walking football.

Nothing wrong with walking football, at 56 we score at least 12 goals each game :laughing6:

I think the next 4 games are vital 3 are at home. There plenty of problems at the moment but I think most fans looked at that fixture list and thought it was a really tough start, although no one thought it would be this bad.

The frightening thing is that we are approaching the time when you need a couple of wins on the trot to move slightly up the table. Even if we'd won yesterday we'd still be bottom today. The hope is that we get someone in who can turn it around quickly.

Give it ten games.

We can still have a better start than every other clubs worst, including ours.

Sheffield Wednesday brought in a top manager in Danny Rohl. Does anyone really think we'll bring in a high level manager? I don't.

They also have the quality of Barry Bannan who can dictate a game, I just don't see anyone like that in our squad at the moment.

According to the commentator on Radio Wales yesterday, it has been our worst start for 103 years.
If that doesn't smell of relegation, I don't know what does.
Yes, Bulut had to go, but we are left with a poor quality squad with sluggish defenders, lack of invention in midfield and a punchless attack.
I'd struggle to name a manager who could put this right without wholesale changes. These cannot be made until next summer at the earliest, when we are likely to be in Division one (probably replaced by Wrexham)

Should have said, since the Championship was renamed.

Jesus, that stat hits home!!!

But as Dalman (the football expert) says, there is no need to panic.

How the hell are we gonna get out of this!!!

Simple one for me, no opposition fear us and everyone in the league home or away see us as an opportunity to pick up points.

We have to change this as quickly as possible.

There was a time when teams would have taken a draw at the CCS and knew they were in for a physical war whenever they played us.

Maybe we'll get some new manager bounce but do we have the balance within the squad to compete. The goal difference doesn't lie we can't defend and don't score.

Our worst start for 103 years it might be, but there is hope. Apparently that season we ended 4up!

Let's not throw the towel in yet, this squad is better than last year but is rudderless and in a state of panic with absolutely no confidence in Riza or Bulut.

If we started last season the same but picked up the same points from there on we wouldn't have gone down.

We need to appoint a good Manager within the next week then pick up the same points as Bulut's average team last year and build from there, we have a January window to get Strikers and fullbacks. We are wounded but we are not dead yet, lets see some Cardiff City fight :ayatollah:
