The main three names doing the rounds on here this week are Steven Schumacher, Nathan Jones and Tony Mowbray.
I have no idea if any of them are in the club's thinking or how Mowbray's health is.
But of those three, who would you favour?
I still say Schumacher with Mowbray my second choice.
Was initially against Jones but I suppose at least he would make us better defensively.

Not that he was my choice but Ryan Giggs had more votes than everyone bar Nathan Jones on the poll I out on the other day.

We need a Mowbray, an Alex Neil or a Rowett at the moment.
Not really exciting, but solid experienced managers that will make us hard to beat.

Totally unrealistic. Giggs is happy out of management and enjoying the sun, he's got enough money so isn't interested in going back into management.

It wont be Jones or Mowbray.

Who?
Give us a hint.

I think we need the grittiness of Nathan Jones, he is a workaholic and his accent and passion ensure he gets the crowd onside when he makes the big calls whoever gets here needs to make.
Why did Stoke let SS go? His win percentage looks good. Stoke are a bit similar to us, fanbase a bit above its station and sacking Pulis cos they wanted better football came around and kicked them in the nuts.
Caveat this....Any one of them please

I can't see us paying compo for Jones, we had the perfect opportunity to get him last year but went for Bulut instead.
I think that ship has sailed, like Pulis was at the time and went for Slade instead.
This board just doesn't have common sense.

So the club stated the outside agency would look at applicants and draw up a shortlist from there, Nathan Jones has stated he is happy at Coventry currently so why are we still looking at him ?
As a fan I would love either, Schumacker, Mowbury but I sadly don’t think Tan will go with either, if he is taking advice then hopefully if it isn’t one of them two it should be someone with a bit of pedigree rather than from within and no real management experience.

Out of the 3 it would be Mowbray for me if his health allows.
Would be happy with Schumacher also.

Jones.
Mowberry is unwell. Schumacher has 50% less games in the experience column.
Jones is a Cardiff fan. When, ever, has there been a credible manager linked who is a CARDIFF FAN??

Dai Hunt is a Cardiff fan, should we give him an interview?
Always been against Jones because he's done nothing away from Luton, and they didn't exactly stall when he left - if anything, they got better.
Would question why he had to drop League One.
He also turned into a bit of a joke figure when he was Southampton manager.
Schumacher did a very good job at Plymouth and Stoke fans were angry when he was sacked.

The results so far show how divided the fans are on who they would like with no clear leader.

I respect your opinion (excluding the first line), and wouldn't be disappointed with Schumacher. Jones is my preference.

To me we are not a well coached team. There’s loads of fantastic coaches out there who could help transform the team. I’m not talking about a manager. A lot of managers don’t even get involved in the day to day coaching. 4 of the best coaches I’ve ever seen or been involved in sessions were Osian Roberts, Joao Sacramento, Rowberry and David Adam’s who’s now head of the FAW. We need A director of football to deal with the board room clowns and a good coaching team who just concentrate on coaching

Guessing it's gonna be none of the above.
We ain't that fortunate to get the name the fans want.
Have anyone forgotten who the owner is?

Spot on he did .

Not sure why people are trying to guess
The next manager.
We know the score, its either an inside manager or an outside manager.
Only the committee either decide or get hoodwinked into an appointment....
There's no other rationale and certainly not an eye on the fans views....
