CROWD FOR MILWALL?

Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:29 am

Surely our lowest league gate coming up what a pity we cannot do what derby did when they had points deduction and where rooted at the bottom of the table.

There fans got behind the club sell out crowds big atmosphere sadly most of city fans will sit at home watching it on sky tv when they are less than a mile from the stadium.

Prob be 15,000 actually there but they will say more. I look around stadium every home game and people are bored. Only entertainment this season was with the youngsters against Southampton, I really enjoyed that game.

Get used to it, they'll be even lower in League One next season.

Wouldn't want you in the trenches with me you would just surrender ,there's plenty of games left to turn it around .

I was half joking but unless things change dramatically, that's what will happen.

We need a top manager to come in but unfortunately the clowns running our club don't even think we are in a crisis.

Thing is, people always moan about the new stadium - and say about the drab atmosphere - and always comparing it to Ninian - and posts crowd attendences around the country etc. But they never come to the games.
So how will the atmosphere get better?

Regarding team performances - we should still be there supporting the lads, and maybe with a better atmosphere with more people there it might actually lift them and the whole place :bluebird:

I am not sure how many season tickets we have sold but I would be very surprised if there is anywhere near 15,000 in the ground. More like 10-12 K in the ground and a crowd announced of 16K-17K.

Lowest league gate? Even with just the season ticket holders being counted as being there even if they're not we wouldn't get anywhere near our lowest league gate. That happened in div4 & even if we just include the league we're in we still wouldn't get close, many on here remember the good old days of a couple of thousand on a good day.

The fans have a big part to play.
I'm embarrassed by the fans just as much as the management.

Would love to know the real definition of plastic.....

Even the canton is quite, apart from groans here and there.

We moan about fight and passion.
Where's our fans fight and passion.

Let's get up and give the players a boost ffs.. .

You’re right mate, but the apathy has set in

Apathy from the players has spread to the fans.

I agree Simon and Mugsy.
The dark cloud has been over us for years now..

I'd just love us to stand up and show our pride. Even for 20 mins.

If someone said. Can you sing shout and support for 20 mins each half to get a chance to win a game for your team, I'd go for it.
Like would you not try -Pulling a mugger off your granny to save her from harm..

City means a lot to many and is sad to see us all in apathy......

Firstly, are you going, Monty?

Secondly, Derby supporters united after their (more than fair) points deduction and they made a reasonable fist of their fight

At the CCS, the team/coaching has simply been very poor and that is what keeps a lot of people away

Those who are there are the most important people and it is they who decide the atmosphere in a game I believe we can win

Me and our boys will be there, Canton singers loud and proud. Whatever state our club is in. (though I agree trying to get a supportive motivational chant going is hard work sometimes in the Canton, often get blank looks from those that have actually remained in their seat and not socialising with beers in the concourse) We have discussed bringing a 'Tan Please Sell Up' banner, I decided not to, for now.
