He actually did a brilliant job for Wales. They were playing really well before he left and Page inherited a squad that knew what they were doing and youngsters were thriving. You or I could have qualified inheriting that !!!!!!

Having said that, I’m not sure about him being our manager because of the baggage he brings and also he’s simply not a very nice bloke that will divide opinion from the off. He’s certainly not a great role model from a personal perspective.

Football wise he’s one of the best choices but it’s the other stuff I’m not too keen about.

We need a proven manager/management team.

I think I’m right in saying Roberts was only with Giggs for the first year. Giggs did well without him too.

That said, I’d have Roberts as our manager if he was available unless we can get someone like Bilic or Selles.
