Opinions on these three when they attacked together?
Rubin Colwill / Ollie Tanner / Calum Robinson
What did Bulut have against them?
For me watching them three together yesterday was the most exciting I’ve see City look for a few years
If Riza stays he has to keep them three together, I believe they will save us from going down and if Riza had not messed around with the formation and not wanted to suddenly defend, The Win was Ours Yesterday.

They link up really well and regardless of if it is Riza or just a run of games, we are starting to see improvement.
Its nice to see some creative football and players who are willing to have a strike. Tanner yesterday for instance, Bulut would have been telling the players to not shoot from there.
Along with Robertson, first names on the team sheet now surely.

They did well.
But I will repeat Colwill and Tanner need to improve their end product.
Tanner is very frustrating. Can score a brilliant goal but then miss a simple chance.
Colwill had a great game but, like Tanner, would have won the match for us if he'd scored that easy chance.

It was hardly an easy chance. The angle was against him massively.

Start these three every time and we will improve upfront

Ned,
The more the three play together, the better I believe they will become

Deffo, there making things happen. Even if the end result is poor at times they are a threat, which means opposition can't relax and push forward

Tanner has come on leaps and bounds for me recently. Robinson is always a threat and Rubin runs that midfield and everything should go through him.
We still need a change of formation and attack though. Our attacking players are still way too isolated and we rarely get anyone in the box.
We can’t rely on set pieces or worldies like Tanners goal if we are to stay up.

Correct , the first time we’ve been exciting for a long long time

Robinson doesn't seem fit. It's like he's got a half hour in him, max. This is a concern. He's most effective in the first 30 mins; which is the best we've got for now. His quality in that time isn't questioned at all. He's our most natural finisher. I can't remember the last 90 mins he's completed though and when the replacement is Kanga; it's an issue.
Rubin is getting alot better. Engine and dictating the game have come on alot with Rambo out. His half-turn is a work of art and defences simply cannot cope with it. However, he HAS to score that chance and HAS to get more G+A. We can't keep him in the 11 with his eye catching runs if it isn't going to payback in goals or assists.
Tanner has made me eat my words recently. That goal, and the skill before it was as good as you'll see all season. Bizarrely though he wastes a good 4/5 major chances between his worldie goals which seem easier to square it to Robbo or hit the target (from a non-pro like me
)
My fear is that we can't afford for 2 'learn your trade' type players; but I also realise that there isn't much better on the bench at the moment.
Keep running with it, lets see where it takes us!

Always thought of Tanner as an impact sub
However, yesterday he did put in a full shift and looked really dangerous all game

I’m not surprised Robbo isn’t fit. Bullet treated him like dirt playing etete Kanga and Mete ahead of him. He’s a fit mobile guy who may not be prolific, but if he was he wouldn’t be playing for us. He deserves his chance and he deserves to be playing up top because he’s had his shoulders above everyone else we have. Fitness will come.

Agree that the 3 - Colwill - Tanner - Robinson are the key going forward to create or score goals .
