Why the wait.

What the hell is going on at Cardiff City? The board must know who they want as manager surely by now.Any other club would have appointed a new manager by now.If it's going to be Rizla then tell us if not then get it done. This club is a joke and shambles.

I'm critical of them but to be fair, the plan was always for Riza to have these games up until the international break and then an appointment would be made.

I would rather they waited until now if it means they get the appointment right. Would have made things worse if they rushed into an appointment but brought in the wrong person.

I don't know for sure but I would expect an appointment to be made this week.

The rumours around Bilic are getting stronger. Would be happy with that.

Any excuse for a go at the club. It's called going through the interview process, many places do it when looking for a new employee, maybe you've heard of it.

Would you prefer that the club make a knee jerk decision, which ultimately turns out to be the wrong one?

Riza we knew was going to be given at least the 3 games he has had, with a view to a permanent successor for Bulut to be in place by the end of the international break.

This could be a decision which has severe consequences for the club. I'd prefer they consulted properly with the advisors, get a short list, look at the data, interview properly and be sure that they bring in the right manager.

Can't please everyone.

It does not matter who the manager is to be honest lose two games the pitch forks be out win a few games he's a god. That's today's modern football fan :bluescarf:

If the club has even got the advisors then surely they wouldn’t have considered Riza based on his pedigree, however if they have then that tells us how low we are aiming in the quality of manager we are going after.

For instance if Bilić is in the running and he has gone straight in as favourite today with sky bet (do they know something) then you cannot compare his pedigree to Riza, and therefore I can’t see Riza getting the role.

Initially I wanted the new manager in asap, but conceded that a process has to happen, so like someone else said I expect the new appointment to be announced this week.

And if that appointment turns out to be Rizza he will get my support but it will also prove to me that the advisor bit was nonsense and probably more spin put out by the club in the hope it appeases the fan base.
