Should the club be issuing an update on where they are in hiring a new manager ?
It’s been raised in here previously and some people said why should they as they said when they fired EB that Rizza would be in charge until the international break.
Well it’s been over 3 weeks now and the international has been and gone and we have a game on Saturday, surely a statement from the club even if it’s just to appease the fan base is needed as to where they are in recruiting a new manager is now needed ?
The board needs to account for the fan base being emotive about the club they love and follow unlike themselves who see it as a business model.
In my opinion a statement is now needed, is the supporters trust or whomever asking for one ?
I wouldn’t even care if it said that Rizza is staying in charge for the foreseeable due to contractual complications with a preferred candidate, at least we would no via official means rather than press and fans guess work.

This question was asked on previous post of
"SAME EVERY SEASON SILENCE FROM THE BOARD" which is still on the forum.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing very little in the way of interviewing potential candidates because they're waiting as long as they can to see if Riza can get a few more results.
Four points or more from the next two games and I think we'll see Riza given an opportunity until at least Christmas.
If we get less than four points then they'll start the process and it'll be a few more weeks before anyone is in place.

The 3 muppets have proved time and time again that they are complete amateurs and absolutely clueless when it comes to running a football team
Yet again they have sacked another manager during the season with no plan whatsoever of how or who to replace him with
I have absolutely no sympathy for Tan he has lost millions and millions of pounds mostly because of his own incompetence
I just wish somebody would come forward to buy the club and get these 3 bozos out of the club
In the meantime I fully expect a hugely underwhelming appointment as our new manager sometime in the next 3 weeks

Unfortunately we know that they won't.
And there's a reason why not:
They know full well that they plan on sticking with Riza as the cheapest option. They have used the international break as leverage to keep the fans off their back for a certain amount of time.
That time has now run out, so another excuse is that there aren't any managers out there that meet the expectations, which is bullshit yet again.
At least this way, some fans will believe that the board is trying. If they came out with a statement of 'Riza will remain in charge' then the club would have a lot of very annoyed fans (even more than present)

Is this the latest excuse ?
Where is the ambition cardiff fans have been underwhelmed about the board for years
they could get billic tomorrow if they bought his contract out Natham jones etc they are underwhelemed with the cheap option

Dalman usually goes on Radio Wales and gives an update.
Strange he hasn't even done that.
I worry they will wait as long as possible and if we win the next two (both winnable), then they'll give the job to Riza.
I believe that would be a mistake.

Schumacker, Lowe, Mowbury plus others out of work good managers that don’t need to be bought out but are available and imo better than we have had in a long while.
I bet you could pay any of them whatever the average championship managers salary is and they would come, so a cheap option in the long run, they just haven’t got a clue.
The disparity between the club and the fan base just gets bigger every season, it really is unbelievable.

This is the thing though, money.
Some people say that we paid Bulut as one of the highest salaried managers in the Championship.
That figure when I asked was quoted at 800k, far below what the average was 4 years ago, let alone now.
We do NOT pay top wages for a manager, hence why we haven’t had a top manager for a long time.

What have we paid our last 5 managers then (excluding Riza)? As you seem convinced we don't pay. Here's the list..
Erol Bulut 03 Jun, 2023 22 Sep, 2024
Sabri Lamouchi 27 Jan, 2023 22 May, 2023
Mark Hudson 18 Sep, 2022 14 Jan, 2023
Steve Morison 29 Oct, 2021 18 Sep, 2022
Mick McCarthy 22 Jan, 2021 29 Oct, 2021
Also, what is the average championship managers wage? Please back your comments up with numbers or it's just opinion.

Please see quote below, plus a link to the page where I found the average salary from 2020.
“ A 2020 survey which was leaked in The Mail outlined details of a whole host of Championship salaries, including managers. The average salary of a Championship manager three years ago was £800,000 - almost half of what Rooney will pocket at St Andrew's.”
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football ... 175059.ampAs I mentioned, the figure of 800k was given to me by Wez, who has stated many times that Bulut was one of the highest paid managers in the championship.
Which clearly isn’t the case is the 800k which he mentioned is accurate.

I don't see what's so funny?
People like to believe things on here, and Wez rightly or wrongly stated he knew the figures.
