CAN REINDORF MAKE THE BENCH SAT?

Thu Oct 17, 2024 5:07 pm

Be nice to at least see him on the bench
rather than meite.

Starting for the U21s tonight so doubt it unfortunately.

Agree with you, should be in the squad ahead of Meite.

No, he’s on with the U21s. Shame he’s overlooked, again.

It’s because Purse has such power at Cardiff city. He knows best doesn’t he? - NOT

Should be on the bench at least for Saturday even he's involved today!!

Gutted that he's starting for 21s again. Especially as he's probably more mobile than any replacement on bench

Meite should not be in the squad, an absolute liability.

Meite was puffung like a steam train after been on for 10 mins as a sub .

He was somewhat injury prone at the tail end of his time with Reading.

He missed over a year with cruciate damage and never really recovered.

Hes a typical City signing unfortunately, a player who has been massively affected by injury, who no one else wants to take a chance on.

Hes also primarily a left winger, but we play him on the right, so he's played out of position with us too.

I'd prefer Reindorf to be given a chance than have Meite on the bench, but it all falls into the typical city narrative.

I can only think he must be poor in training because every time I have seen him play he has been a handful. With the amount of places on the bench I find it hard to believe he can’t get a spot as a least an option and to gain first team match day experience

He needs to come into the match day squad now. You can see in U23s/or 21s or whatever
that hes got something.

Hes more mobile and like a proper forward - totally different but to me hes like a Ruben, looks lazy but is effective. An experienced manager would get a good tune. these modern ones want a press monkey, I can see why he may not strike it with some managers/coaches.
He does press but he may come under that Ruben view.....

What’s all the fuss with this player?,are things really that bad we all screaming for an under 21 player to be put in the team, which in all fairness the same people were slagging the club off for signing,I see he’s scored a few for the under 21s,but 5 of those goals have been against Welsh league opposition

Because as you say he's scored 5 this season for a start, we have nobody except Robinson that is any use & he can't possibly be worse than Meite once (Robinson is tired) has been so why not. He played well against Southampton & some have seen him play for the U21s.

If Spain can play a 16 year old why wouldn't we give him a go?

We are totally against using youth players really.

We have one of the oldest teams in the championship, that experience has led us to the bottom of the table, with no real firepower up front.

On the flip side, let’s not use Yamal as an example but let’s use Sunderland, they have a number of ‘kids’ in their team and look at how they are getting on.

No one is saying he’s a world beater, but what we are saying is, that he deserves a shot, even a cameo off the bench.

Jeez, talk about adding 2+2 and getting 53, ffs. You asked a question & I tried to answer it but I won't bother in future if all you want to do is put words in people's mouths that they didn't say.

Coincidentally purse played for us when NOT was a thing.

There’s no doubting the lads effort when he’s played. But he’s certainly not done much other than put a lot of effort in, and his goals for the U21’s have dried up. Having said that I’m definitely in favour of him being named on the bench over Meite, as he’s been as much use as a handbrake on a canoe this year so far. As much as I’m not a fan of Robinson, there’s no other alternative to him in the starting line up at the minute.

Even twisting your own words now. You asked if I was comparing Reindorf to Yamal not talking about him, you know exactly what I meant so I'm done with this bs if you can't engage in a normal conversation.
