Team for Plymouth?

Thu Oct 17, 2024 6:43 pm

A really important, must win game at home.

Whittaker as Ned mentioned is their most dangerous player, and one we should be aware of.

How would you like to see us line up?

Is it too soon for Daland?

Horvath

Ng
Daland
Goutas
Bagan

Robertson
Siopis

Tanner
Colwill
El Ghazi

Robinson

Some sensible decent line ups there. But it’s as if we are conditioned to 4231 now , or if it’s mandatory! I would just love to see Robinson play off a striker in the pockets, with Colwill in a free role in behind them, at the very least at home. I appreciate Kanga has been poor, but maybe this set up might suit his strengths better, because as many have said, myself included, Haaland would struggle in the Bulut and post Bulut 4231 isolation and poor service. As our goals tally from open play proves!

I think the problem is that we don't really have a striker set up right now that is any good.

If and when we have a full squad, fresh and fit I would try the following:

Alnwick

Ng
Daland
Goutas
Bagan

Siopis

Robinson
Colwill
Tanner

Robinson
El Ghazi/Davies
