TANNER IMPROVEMENT.

Sun Oct 20, 2024 6:49 pm

To me like rubin what a lot of fans have said game time is what is needed,
and they both have come on but tanner was getting a load of stick from fans and especially bulut,
But he is starting to look more like mendiz lang passing defenders and like rubin swnner should get a lot of praise probably the nost improved player recently
Well done lad hats off to your effort.

Monty, I get the impression that Bulut stifled the more flamboyant & attacking players and now Riza has told them to go out, play football & do what comes naturally & what you're good at. I think had Bulut stayed around no amount of games would have made a difference.

I agree Monty.

Is looking like he will be a very important player for us this season.

The link up play from Colwill and Tanner has been good since the new manager has taken over and played both .

So true Monty
We seen glimpses of the both of them linking up before but couldn’t understand why bulut wouldn’t start them , it’s obvious now that bulut was holding them back , I believe these players are going to thrive this season now, Tanner has improved greatly . All they needed was to keep starting games and have a manager who believes in them , unlike bulut who spoke negatively quite a few times about them , onwards n upwards :occasion5: :bluebird:

Fully agree. Even after the Derby game I thought Tanner was wayy off.

He's a grafter and looking more settled game by game. He's proving me VERY wrong; and currently out performing 'premier league El Ghazi'.

Colwill turns and he's there, every time. His angled runs are looking very sharp and dangerous. Most improved to this point by MILES.

Good to see!!

Agree Monty. Kid's got bucketloads of talent, just needs game time and a manager who's 100% behind him. Bulut definitely stifled his style, Riza is letting him express himself more now and attack more. So many lovely flicks and touches on Saturday.

To have the confidence to drag it back and hit it with his "bad" foot at Bristol was special. I'll have a bet with anyone he'll be playing Premier League football by the end of 25/26 season. Not sure why, just seems to have something about him...

See him waving the Plymouth player who got sent off though?

Don’t like to see that

Great understanding with Rubin they are like a double act at times. Has scored great important goals cutting in on his left, need the same with his right! Not sure about Prem league but can be a top championship player, hope he keeps the temperament and cockiness in check, like his improved work rate. Currently has the shirt and needs to keep it. :ayatollah:

Absolutely love to see that. Shithousery at its finest!

Granted, if it was opposition player I’d be fuming!
