Allan, We nearly lost

Cardiff Met University lose to clubs like Newton and Haverfordwest County and struggle against clubs like Lantwit Major

Then when they play the only decent club TNS they lose 3-0

Our U21’s are full-time professionals and are on the verge supposedly of going in to the Championship

It is, but the worrying part is that he is not playing now as well as he was when he first signed for us. He was chasing every ball with speed then, and now he gives the impression that he has lost that, his long-distance pass to the other side of the pitch seems to have deserted him he looks as if he is not enjoying his games the same way he was when he first came here. we had what I thought would be a consistent 15-20 goal striker on our hands who is now going backwards instead of improving. last night was a great opportunity for him to impress Riza, but unfortunately, it passed him by. There is a striker in the lad, and someone needs to put it right now, not wait until it is beyond repair

Cardiff Met are not an ordinary University Side. They have been a decent side in the Cymru Premier for years and most of their players are there for one specific purpose. To play football under the guise of studying for a sports degree. Bit like American College footballers. They are effectively full timers.
