RUBIN COLWILL:

Having played in every competitive fixture so far this season, Rubin reflected on City’s recent form, with the Bluebirds having now gone four matches unbeaten.

“It’s nice to be winning games again and getting good results,” began Rubin. “Everybody is full of confidence now and there’s that buzz back in the building, so I’m enjoying it.

“Small changes can make a big difference on the pitch, and I think that those changes have made a difference.

“It’s come around really quickly, but I think it’s been in the making over the last few weeks. We’ve been working hard on the training ground and in games, and we’re all really pleased.

“Full credit to the staff, I think that their intensity and work has almost rubbed off on us lads, with the work they’ve been putting in. That’s been the one thing that I’d say has really helped us.

“I think that the confidence comes with playing, and the same for match fitness. I don’t think that I’ve played this many games in a row before, but my body is used to it now.

“Getting used to that experience of playing lots of games, I’m just enjoying football.”

“West Brom are a really strong team, I think that they have that quality that can hurt you if you give them the chance.”

Rubin Colwill:

“We’ve recently played teams that are close to us in the table," he continued. "But we don’t want them to be our competition all season. We want to be climbing up the table and competing for places with teams like Norwich and West Brom, who are both big games yet to come.

“These are the teams that we’re going to need to beat if we want to get up the table, so we’re all looking forward to the challenge.

“West Brom are a really strong team with good players, I think that they have that quality that can hurt you if you give them the chance.

“For us, it’s about being on top of our game defensively and without the ball to not give them anything, and then to perform with the ball and create lots of chances.”
