Riza admits he's not sure if the 33-year-old will be available for selection, as Wales boss Craig Bellamy prepares for the upcoming games with Turkey and Iceland.

"I'm not sure in what capacity he could be available for Wales or not. I don't have any part to play in what Wales do," he added.

"Time-frame wise, it was three to four weeks. I think that takes us up to that period. For me if he hasn't played any domestic football up until that point, it will probably be quite difficult for him to feature in any sort of footballing capacity.”

"But like I said, he might be there to go in and support the players in another capacity. I understand it, and if those conversations take place and I get the call from Craig, I'm quite happy to have a chat."

Spot on mate. He just should not be able to just go and play for wales and rarely for us. To me it’s completely unethical. Could you imagine if he played some part and got injured YET AGAIN

Don't think he would be playing but that doesn't mean he can't be there in some other capacity so let's just calm down on the complaining until it happens.

100% this; or as much as I am a Rambo supporter, I accept it will give his detractors room to further question his motivation for being here…

Club v country will always be a dilemma but there are times when ‘doing the right thing’ is clear…

Having said that, as Wales Captain, I have no issues if Rambo is part of the overall squad in a non-playing/mentoring capacity…!

If he was playing for any other team we would be saying he should be available for Wales.

If he goes and plays for Wales after being injured for us and not playing, then that shows he is using us as a cash cow.

Shouldn't be playing for Wales at all until he's actually earned his money that the club pays him week in week out.

I doubt very much that he needs the cash & is playing for us (or not) because he loves the club, the problem is that he loves his country as well. As was said above, if he was playing for anyone else we would all be saying how he should turn up for Wales regardless.

I agree that he shouldn't play for Wales until he's fit & playing for us but nobody has said he is playing for Wales anyway, so all these people getting their knickers in a twist is pointless unless he does. People just love to moan about what may never happen around here as if it already did.

Sadly he’s finished and should retire. Love to see him stay on in a coaching capacity.

A lot of times players report to country camps because that's what they do if injured in rambos case its more a moral boost plus good friends with bellers I guess ..... and your right it's no point in moaning because nothing as happened yet so very premature to do otherwise....plus he's only travelling 5miles or so to meet up with squad hardly so no hardship
