About right, thought El Ghazi and Colwill were our least effective players.

I don’t get the love in with El Ghazi, he’s been awful in my opinion.

We knew he was a player that blows hot and cold, he was like that at Villa. But on his day he is brilliant.

I thought he did well against Plymouth and Portsmouth (although should have scored on Tuesday) but struggled to make an impact today.

He does try to do too much and has poor decision making. There was that time he tried a skillful flick but it just went out for a throw in and another where he shot from about 30 yards when there were better options.

But he gets in the right positions and does run at defenders. Got his goal against Plymouth by being in the right place.

Would not be surprised if he got ten goals by the end of the season just by the intelligence of being in the right place, we don't have many players like that.

I’ll agree he gets in good positions but I think his name means he gets a lot more patience from the fans. Meite tries a flick like he did that went straight out of play and we’d have ten threads on it.

But Meite has no skill as such, and isn’t as smart football wise as El Ghazi.

I don’t mind Meite but we don’t use him right. He’s a bully, he has a role to play, rough up the opposition and be a nuisance. The kind of player you want to come on when you’re winning and want to just bully the defenders into giving away sloppy fouls. Unfortunately the ref yesterday blew up for a free kick every time we challenged for a ball

Have to agree with you there mate.
It’s what I’d expected before the match from colwill because I believe they a level or two above him. If he not playing very weak teams, with 10 players Plymouth or Portsmouth Or play against youth teams , Southampton then he’s going to flatter to deceive unfortunately. I was beginning to hope he was can step up finally, he still may do but the stats don’t back it at the moment.

El Ghazi. I am disappointed in him so far. I still belive he will come good though.

I disagree about Colwill, everyone has bad games and he’s had one.

Agree with El Ghazi and do hope he gets his sharpness back.

Colwill arguably the best player against Bristol City and Milwall also, so don't agree he can only do it against the likes of Plymouth.

True, but they are two other bottom half teams.

I think yesterday we saw the difference in level of ability between Robertson and Colwill, albeit in different positions.

Robertson showed he can compete with the quality in West Brom's midfield and put in another strong display. I believe he is our best player.

Colwill struggled a bit to make an impact. That's not really a criticism of him because that would be harsh given his recent performances. I expect he'll be keen to bounce back with a better performance against Norwich.

What we need to remember Colwill tanner Al gazi and a few others have only played limited amount of minutes under Bulut being fit and being match fit are totally different the more they play the more sharper and confident they will get we can already see them progressing individualy and as a team .

There were moments from Rubin but whether it was because he was against a decent compact no thrills midfield or three games in 8 days is up for debate.

When we talk about Rubin ending up in the premier league i am always a bit sceptical purely on his physical output. We can hide it in the championship as long as he is creating.

He needs more decent Sat, Tues, Sat performances in his legs, as at the moment i doubt many scouts are seriously looking at him.
