EL GHAZI NOT IMPRESSED YET.

Sat Nov 02, 2024 9:53 pm

I think his head is where his heart is,
and its not on a football pitch,
personally i would drop him and ask really where he thinks he is at his stage in his career and life,

as its not working at the moment
Not in a nasty way,
before anyone slates me by saying he has opinions as we all do on the worlds troubles,
or is getting up to speed.

Thats why i think he should be dropped because i really don' t think he is playing for the shirt the team the fans or the club.in my humble opinion

Totally agree. We should start Willock on the left at Luton.

As long as Robertson and Robinson are fit, I would go with:

Alnwick
Ng Chambers Goutas O'Dowda
Robertson Turnbull
Tanner Colwill Willock
Robinson

I think o' dowda has got peeded off with him also,
and showed him this is how you do it playing on the wing.

I am even less impressed with Willock than El Ghazi, I don't think Willock is a winger though, looks like another central attacking midfielder. I thought Ashford looked sharper and far more direct than Willock, but he isn't a winger either.

I can see the urge to try three at the back with O'Dowda and Tanner as wingbacks with Colwill and Ashford as attacking midfielders supporting the striker (CR) in a 3421.

Offered nothing apart from a tap in which he almost missed. I get people wanting him to do well but he doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the starting line up. He may come good but for now, no thanks

I was considering this question in regards to another post on our most valuable players because I certainly think El Ghazy has the capability of being a player of value although, perhaps because of his age, I doubt it would be anywhere near £15m

I think it is right that he is not 100% yet. Whether that is mentally or physically or even both I do think that overtime we will have an exceptional player - if we stick with him and give him the support he needs.

I do agree Willock from the start and bring El Ghazi on for the last 30 minutes.
