If Riza is still an Interim Manager, will it have a detrimental impact on January?
If Tan is still looking for a full time replacement other than Riza, then he may be reluctant to spend money on players that might not be in the new managers plans.
I hope this isn’t the case.
A striker is still a number one priority and hopefully we can send Kanga back.
Thoughts?

Not sure it will make much difference as expect tan riza may well have discussed January.... and of course will depend where we are if doing well say top 6 or just below will tan say no to riza just because he's interim coach?
Not sure he will as long
as demands are not excessive ...

If rumours are to be believed, we signed players bulut didn’t want so I’d imagine there is still a transfer plan. Difference with riza is he appears to have done better with the “imposed” players who appear to be quite good

Most clubs now make signings as a club, not make "manager signings".
They were recently talking about Ten Hag and how he was an unusual manager in English football these days because he had complete control over signings.
There are occasionally the odd signing requested by the manager, like Siopis and Goutas, but the majority are made as a club decision.
The issue we have is we don't have a Sporting Director or DoF, which means not enough expertise goes into some of the signings we make - I'm thinking about Kanga.
But to be fair we did make a few decent signings like Robertson and Daland.
So the club will already have their targets, regardless of the manager position and that won't change.

I’d imagine he would be involved anyway and would have been as a coach to give some input.
Given how we are playing is so different now he’d want to give some suggestions to have players that can slot in well. Otherwise we end up with a kanga when we want a robbo.

I do not think it will make a big difference.
We may be better to see if we can get someone on loan but also need to work on getting our players fit.
Still confused why we signed the Rimic from Salzburg and loaned him out as Kanga has not shown anything and Kion is injured. Always think Etete has something if he really switched his attitude and desire on!
Maybe Riza could get a bit more out of who we have?

If we continue in current form, it really won’t matter other than the clear priority will be more (proper) strikers to assist Callum Robinson…
At this rate, Omer Riza will get the job full-time and rightly so…
If we have a drop in form, it will give Vincent Tan the opportunity to bring in his own man, i.e. Slaven Bilic…
Nothing is set in stone yet; and for me, it’s Riza’s to lose…!
