We should have kept Joel Colwill like this , training with the first team in match day squads , brought on etc then playing for U21.

I got told someone had it in for him.

This is how we end losing them and they go backwards.

Hopefully New U21 Management and he’s brought back

I agree, should be recalled in January. Can add something to the first squad even, he's a midfielder and Cheltenham's top scorer which says a lot.

30 minutes gone bristol has been all over cardiff, etete hasn't really had much to work with so far

I agree 100%. Turnbull Robertson and Colwill will be our main 3 midfielders next year. Siopsis there as well but he may well leave. Ralls will be a back up and maybe Ramsey. Therefore Joe Colwill is a must next year. As this season goes on, more injuries and suspensions are guaranteed so it would be prudent to get Joe Colwill back in January training with the first team squad and be ready to go when needed. He can still play under 21. Reindorff the same. After all Bagan is in a similar situation

1-0 City

Great cross by Giles and a good header by Etete

HT 1-0

Bristol started better but City grew into the game and took the lead thanks to great work by Giles and Etete.

Etete has shown some nice touches and got his goal, he worked hard.

Clearly lacking match fitness and expect he'll only play 45 minutes because it will be a gradual return to match fitness for him.

As expected, Etete only plays the first half.

3-1 City, Nyakuhwa

3.1 now but it's an absolute pleasure to watch some of these youngsters, add Joel colwill to the mix(2 goals at the weekend) and the future does look bright . if OR doesn't get the job we need a manager who can progress these youngsters as there is some quality there.

4-1, great finish by Reindorf

Thought he was offside but the flag stays down because the ball was headed back to him by a Bristol player

Mannie Barton, plays well every time I've seen him play.

Caused them all sorts of problems after he came on at half time.

Manny Barton was 17 years old last September; he always puts in a good performance and is a very promising player

Sorry did not notice your post

The first 30 minutes of the first half were the worst I have seen them play this season; they began to look more like their usual selves in the final quarter of an hour of the half, and the second half was how they played in previous matches this season we have quite a lot of talent coming through the academy, lets hope they are looked after properly

Because for the last 4 years we have the players coming through, Thankfully now under New Management they will only get better.

Yes - the first team results have improved!

Can only assume Rizla is completely ignoring anything Purse says to him then. When there are natural breaks in play, I have seen DP communicate to a couple of our players so not sure what to think.
