MY VIEW: TONIGHT SADLY BACK TO BORING / UNEXCITING AND CARDIFF GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED
Over all Cardiff hardly troubled Luton who were 3rd from bottom and even Luton fans said to me tonight two awful sides and a boring game.
I honestly thought before the game City would get the 3pts.
Luton deserved the 3pts.
Well driving home and it’s Blackburn home Saturday, 3pts please.

Yes it was a fairly boring game to watch but Luton did deserve the win.
They pressed us very hard and we were not sharp enough to pass the ball about which is what you need to do then under that pressure. If anything it told us we need that striker who will make those runs into the box. We have the players to supply such passes and if we had that striker then the high ressure press from the opposing team would not be so prevalent.

Poor performance and we had absolutely zero on the bench to change it.

We were bullied, we didn’t win enough first or second balls, when we had the ball we were too slow playing forward. El Ghazi and Colwill were particularly poor last night. Unfortunately for us Robertson was out as he is someone who can deal with the ball under pressure and play forward. Hopefully Robertson back for the weekend

Takes me back to our Dave Jones days, previous games we look a force to be reckoned with, but DJ teams never liked to deal with the likes of Millwall, Stoke, and teams that set up like Luton did.

Poor showing offered nothing really struggled with Lutons press and grit and determination.
Hopefully a leason learnt I hope .

It’s been a poor, low quality game, but Luton have been physical and strong from set pieces. Cardiff have been bounced about and their passing has been off. I know it’s hard to change a winning team and Riza clearly has his favourites, but he’s going to need to rotate a bit more.

Robertson for Siopis and possibly Daaland for Chambers
