Does anyone honestly think Blackburn or any other team would have allowed any of our players to have a free, easy shot like that?
Goutas was too busy putting his arm up to incorrectly claim offside and made absolutely NO effort to close their player down!
It's so frustrating as we played excellent in the second half and we deserved to get back into the game, but Goutas was too lazy to bother closing their player down and ruined all of our good work getting back into the game. Pathetic!

Not for first time we afforded a team acres of space in midfield .... teams break far quicker than we do so need to be marked closer to prevent what happened today

Maybe wrong but from where I was sat I thought the keeper could have done better too.

I sit in the Ninian Stand and I thought Alnwick should have at least pushed away for a corner, it seemed like the shot was more of a toe poke

There's a general sloppiness which has crept back into the team. Maybe they've been taken in by the 'top 6' hype that's been mentioned in places. Seems like Riza thinks the same judging by his comments..

Well it's not a hard shot it's 20yrds from goal and it's coming across him? The hardest shot to stop for goalie but then you question his positioning to allow it to go in.... basically shouldn’t have been scored if take defence into consideration.

Absolutely correct !
There is no way that shot should have got past Alnwick. If that had been Horvarth he would have been crucified!!

Their keeper saved a much more difficult one from Willock which was heading for the corner but he dived to his left and pushed it round the post with his right hand.

Just seen a replay of it. Two things:
I thought it was offside at the time. It wasn't, well done to the assistant referee.
Alnwick definitely should have saved it.
