“ OMER RIZA / MY FUTURE “

OMER RIZA NOT HEARD FROM THE CCFC HIERARCHY FOR A WEEK:

ITS THE USUAL UNPROFESSIONAL WAY WE HAVE GOT USE TO WITH THE HIERARCHY TREAT MANAGERS WHETHER WE LIKE THEM OR NOT.

And of course how unprofessional they run Our Club and why we are in more financial trouble than when they took over and in a worst league position.

The good news for Riza, The Hierarchy were struggling for quality managers to want the job.

Omer Riza:

“I don’t know, I might be here after the International break, I might not be.”
“I was hearing from the board every day, I’ve not heard anything for a week, only they know what’s going to happen.”

“I believe I am taking the club in the right direction.”

He needs to ditch the 424 because that's effectively what we are playing. The forward quartet for all the risk this system has, deliver very little.

If we have really threatening wingers, then go for it and score three or four a game. But they offer so little.
I'd go three at the back and play 3421 that what we have with O'Dowda /Bagan and Tanner/NG as wingbacks with the same CM's, 2 attacking midfielders and a striker

Unless El Ghazi turns out to be a striker then he doesn't get a game

At the moment I'm not sure El Ghazi is actually a footballer let alone a striker.

BBC

Cardiff City interim boss Omer Riza admits he "doesn't know" if he will remain the Bluebirds boss through the international break.

After a run of impressive results, Cardiff have been beaten in their last two league games and Riza admits that could impact his future.

The stand-in boss, who has been endorsed by several of the Cardiff players, had talks with Cardiff's owners last weekend before their 2-1 win over Norwich City.

However, no agreement has been reached to keep Riza in charge on a permanent basis and he admits he is in the dark over the plans of the club, especially after two losses.

When asked about his future, he told BBC Sport Wales:

Omer Riza:

"Regarding what it looks like, I don't know. It's every international break is a chance to bring in another manager.”

"We have always said that when you are winning it's more difficult, when you are losing it's easier.”

"It depends what the club wants to do moving forward, only they can answer it.”

"What I'm worried about is not winning games. The pressure is there if you don't win games and then the opportunity is there for anything to happen. I'm not going to say whether I want the job, you already know the answer to that."

As for a timeline on a permanent successor to previous boss Erol Bulut, who was sacked in September, Riza added: "They are going to make a decision eventually, you just have to wait."

Lack of respect shown to Riza by the owners. Their people skills and basic communicative ability has been pretty much non-existent for years. Absolutely pathetic and a shambles.

It is disrespectful, especially if they've been paying him a coaches wage for the duration of his time in charge...which wouldn't surprise me in the slightest with the 3 amigos.

Let him continue and give him some clarity. He's doing really well all things considered. Take away the Hull game (which was played under Buluts team and Buluts tactics), he's averaging 1.75 points game. That's play off pace. Not sure anyone out there is gonna beat that.

He's got to be given a striker in Jan though to help him.

I said when they weren't communicating with Bulut before his new contract, it was disrespectful - the same applies with them doing the same to Riza.

I said on Saturday the situation needs to be sorted one way or the other in this break.

If they want to appoint Riza, which I wouldn't be against, then give him the job.

If not, appoint someone else.

This isn't fair on Riza, the players or the fans.

I agree with everything you’ve said their Ned, except Riza I don’t believe he is good enough if we want to be ambitious.

Why on earth would we sack him? Or do these people not realize he's already contracted to us?

He's under contract as a coach, not as a manager. He doesn't get a manager's salary, he just gets the bonuses than a manager would get.

He deserves the right to know whether his contract will be altered to that of a manager.

If not then he may decide to resign as a coach as these last few weeks could give him motivation to look for a manager's job elsewhere.

So nobody is saying he should be sacked - because he's not under contract as a manager.

The full time decision has to be made now.

I was asking because of the above quote that says "back him or sack him", I know he's a coach but why would we sack him? If he walks rather than staying as a coach (if he doesn't get the mgrs job) that's his decision but sacking him is just a little extreme.

Sorry, I misunderstood.

I agree.
