One way or the other, I think the club needs to make a decision on what they will do with the manager's position over the next two weeks.
If they're going to keep Riza in that job, announce that he'll stay in charge until the end of the season or something like that.
If not, appoint someone else.
Because the situation is ridiculous now. Riza has had eight matches which is a lot for an interim.
The players need to know who will be in charge for the rest of the season. It will help stability.
This is the time to make the decision. Last international break of the year, there won't be a two week break like this until March.

I agree and if he is the guy he needs help.
If anyone needs to leave the club its the guy who scouted Kanga and El Ghazi, i bet they eat up a fair bit of the weekly salary.

I agree Ned,
Needs to be now sorted.
But for Me, Riza and his two very inexperienced Coaches, i believe will take us down.
And if we stay just about up, that for me is very poor, what type of ambition has our Hierarchy??

The sum of their ambition appears to be to keep us in the Championship by the skin of our teeth until the imaginary buyer who's going to pay Tan the ridiculous amount he thinks the club is worth comes out of the clouds riding a unicorn with £200m in his pocket.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that we haven’t appointed a permanent Manager whether that is Riza or someone else
Our board are such amateurs it’s embarrassing
Yet again they have been shown up for not having any sort of contingency plan we are going nowhere with these 3 idiots in charge

Watford owner would sell up value £140m to £170 another small championship club value around £110m so can see direction tan is coming
from even if dont agree with value... unfortunately we've been saying got several years tans time is up but obstacles in way ... as for OP we definitely need an answer one way or other even if it's to January ..

Agree, we defo need a decision.
Whether it's Riza or not, the players and the fans need some certainty so we can all try and get out of this mess together.
Plus, we absolutely gotta get that striker in for January. We need to be working on that right now...but who's gonna commit to play for a managerless club???
I really like Riza and we've improved under him for sure. His inexperience though is a concern. Does he have the same sort of contacts or the same player pulling power that someone like Bilic has in the game. I very much doubt it.

Unfortunately riza doesn't have the player resources to get consistency in way we play! He's suffering the same fate as those before him no recognised front man of any note.... even a new coach will have a struggle to get a system to work properly.... need s break with injuries for a month or two to give us our best team.

David,
Sadly that’s what’s happening.

What happened to that agency who were supposed to be looking all over Europe assisted by 2 very experience exactly managers? More for from the hierarchy supported by the local press.

Been thinking about how naive I believe we set up, is it too attacking?
Co'D a very attacking "full back"
2 ball playing "8"'s
A unique talent local lad "10"
2 wingers
a striker (of some sorts)
Is he trying too hard to be attacking as that's what the owner wants and you need to impress him to get on the football gravy train merry-go round?
Tan needs to make his mind up, even if it is until January, so we can all settle down

Versus Luton and today the team lacked the press and energy of the past 6 weeks since Riza took over. Here's a thought. Last Saturday we had big exposure with ITV featuring the game, player and manager interviews. Players giving OR their endorsement. So what did they hope would happen? Clearly, his appointment. Nothing happened. Could the drop off be down to player disappointment at the club's hierarchy yet again not listening?

For 60 minutes yesterday we were dreadful, no tempo or vision to our game and Blackburn could have been three up at half time. For me the "bounce" you get with a new face running the team has come to an end (we were also dreadful at luton) Every time one of our attacks broke down we were sliced apart on the counter attack, at times it was like a kick about in school with four defenders (and keeper) and six forwards, i understand why Riza is doing this because we have a lack of quality up front (apart from Robinson and no fault of Riza) so he is flooding the final third of the pitch with bodies hoping chances will fall to one of them. Unfortunately, other teams are quickly finding this out, we got away with it against Norwich but not yesterday. For me Riza is not ready for management in the championship and our useless trio (tan, choo and dalman) should have brought in a new manager at the last international break. With so many quality championship managers available (add Robins and possibly Edwards to the list) there should not be another delay it has to be this week, if not then i fear the worse and they'll go for the cheap get out and give it to Riza. I'm sure that the euro agents and two ex managers that Dalman went to for advice (if this ever happened) would not have named Riza, so once again we are waiting for our three "football geniuses" to make the right call, make it soon and bring in some championship experience.
