Maybe he needs to go out and sort where he stands regarding his position? Perhaps he does not want to go back to old position as just a coach.... plausible reason but highly unlikely but anything can happen as its ccfc/tan we are talking about!

I’d be happy with Bilic.

I do hope that whoever comes in, keeps Riza at the club.

I've also been in favour of Riza staying at the club IF a new manager came in.

But you make a good point.

A bit like Man Utd have done with Van Nistelrooy, sometimes it's better for all parties to cut the interim manager loose and allow the new manager to bring in his own staff.

Until a statement is made by the club regarding this meeting in malaysia the status quo remains.... hes interim manager..... riza knows the situation and will just carry on as he's been doing.... "IF" billic does arrive expect riza to leave unless tan makes him a proposition he can't refuse like academy manager instead of just a coach he was before his elevation to head coach.

Carlsey been interim coach at England for ages now he's going back to under 21s set up when tukle comes in.... like said could riza fo same
