Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:41 pm

Are we allowed to criticise him?

Always trying these flicks, get the game won and then you can do stuff like that - especially as half the time it never comes off.

Falls to ground too easily as well.

People need to wake up and see that he's not the world beater they think he is.

He's not a kid anymore.

Re: Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:45 pm

Literally said the same about the flicks just now in the match thread, he needs to take a step back and just pass the ball normally.

Re: Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:46 pm

I said the same when Wales were playing, that there's a reason he's not in the team but very few agreed with me & most here seem to think he's worth over 15 million quid, not a chance in hell anyone is paying that for him. All style over substance a lot of the time with his fancy flicks & stepovers that rarely come off.

Re: Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:52 pm

What's the fix then gents? His competition is little to none at the moment. It may even be his younger brother who is in a different league!

Re: Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:58 pm

Bring reindorf on. And either go 2 up or move Robinson 10

Re: Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 9:04 pm

Don't forget, Colwill may be worth 15 mil according to some fans  Ask Bellamy why he doesn't play him or just watch tonight's game. He needs to pull his finger out, now!

Re: Colwill

Done absolutely nothing along with Tanner who thankfully has been replaced.

More talent in those toes than Jordan James though.

Maths not your strong point. Much like your football knowledge.

Oxford have two more points than Cardiff last 4 games and still above them in the table.

Re: Colwill

Wed Nov 27, 2024 9:47 pm

He's had his run in the side now, given trust, and he's is exactly as I expected an over rated show pony. Rarely any end product and loses possession all the time. If we can get a fee move him on.

Lost to two very good teams. Boro and Sheff Utd playing different level football. There are 5 or 6 teams in this league who have really, really good players and newly promoted Oxford can’t live with that. At least they know that and still have a go and attack and it’s not the insipid football I’ve just watched.

A proper manager will stop the fantasy stuff

He is an 8 and he learns to run or it’s L2 as a luxury player

Even with that only concede one more than Cardiff in same amount of games. But scored four more. More points as well.

You ain’t got anything. I’m torn between the two teams for Boxing Day but the more I speak to you on here the more I think I’m hoping Oxford smash them.

Awww come on , how can u blame colwill , atleast he’s trying to make positive play , he’s the only one who looked to go forward tonight , I think this is harsh on him , there’s a deeper problem going on and it’s not colwill

If you change teams due to words on a forum, then they can have your disloyal/pathetic support. Weak weak man

I can guarantee that if Colwill was a signing and not an academy graduate, he would rightly be getting a whole lot of criticism.

I don’t really hope Oxford smash Cardiff.

I’m going to the Watford game actually. Looking forward to it.

There is a feeling of apathy at the moment though sadly. Not sure how that can change.

Every time Colwill goes to head a ball he ducks out of the way, is he afraid of getting his blond hair dirty?

Sucked out of him how?

He's been given a very decent run of games and played the full 90 minutes in most of those games.

Riza obviously trusts him and gives him plenty of freedom to more or less play where he wants to on the pitch.

He's been given numerous opportunities to influence games since Riza took over and has largely failed to take them.

Perhaps we're now seeing the real Colwill.

An average Championship footballer capable of a very rare spark of inspiration once every ten or fifteen games.
