After a night to sleep on it, that performance is utterly demoralising.
I felt, like I used to under Bulut, that we would never score. Passive passing, backwards and side to side. Slow, ponderous runs, no energy.
I just looked at the stats and we apparently had 24 shots. I can’t remember 3/4’s of them.
By the 60th minute I’d lost hope, and that’s what Riza gave us back in his first few games.
That’s been totally decimated by the last three performances.
He has to shoulder some of the blame, as he sets the team up (and decides to ignore our young exciting talent) but………
The players need to shoulder a lot of the blame. Passing straight to opponents, whipping in balls to no one, inability to do the basics of football right.
Those few games masked the fact that our squad is really poor and we’ve a lot of mercenaries that turn up for the wage. Riza deserves criticism but the players (and I mean all of them) can’t keep escaping criticism.

On the hour mark I said to my brother there was no way we were going to get anything out of the game

All players are contractors I get that but it’s total fantasy how we want to play.
We are playing the en vogue system but without the players
All the skill in the world but so little football intelligence, Rubin doesn’t understand his position. He just stands off the play hoping the ball comes to him
The ODowda cross yesterday where he took the whole defence out the game needed someone to burst a gut because they could smelll a goal, Rubin doesn’t have that instinct
It’s not his fault, you don’t have to play him or that system, it’s the managers fault.
There may be enough talent in there to narrowly avoid relegation but we need proper knows what he is about no nonsense manager.
I wonder if tans chief financial officer is just a qualified accountant with no experience of running a major complex organisation. I doubt it but he think he can do that with his £100 mill business, it’s just insane or incompetence

Completely agree with you guys.
That performance yesterday was woeful, it's still playing on my mind this morning.
This squad has talent in it but they were just going through the motions yesterday. Their concentration levels are shocking and they just don't seem to care enough.
They were all gutted yesterday after that 2nd goal and at the final whistle (well part from Willock) but how many of them actually bust a gut yesterday. How many of them gave 100% from start to finish. O'Dowda and possibly Bagan and that's it. There is just no fight in this squad.
When things are going well they turn it on and play some lovely football but when things turn bad, very few of them roll up their sleeves.
I feel for Riza coz this is Buluts squad...but he didn't do himself any favours at all last night with his late substitutions.

And I don't think there was one fan in the stadium who could understand why Meite came on with 10 minutes to go instead of Reindorf. We know U23's is different to Championship football, but at least the kid knows where the net is. Meite's stats are pathetic, even though most of the time he comes on as a sub, but he very rarely does anything remotely likely to change the course of a game. Beggars belief why he puts a young striker on the bench but refuses to use him. The kid was running up and down the touchline most of the 2nd half warming up. Riza not doing himself any favours with the fans, if he put him on and he did nothing, at least he would have tried something different instead of going down the usual ineffective route

I just feel the whole uncertainty is the real problem.
Its becoming apparent we need that manager in place for some sort of stability. Unfortunately of late each time we have secured that manager on a long term contract its immediately gone South. This is why the board are taking their time. In the meantime our football suffers and whoever takes the job is going to have a difficult job getting it back on track.

If we had our shooting boots on we would of won easily last night, 2nd half i can remember only 2 shots from qpr and one was there goal , This totally where our problem lies , we can't hit a barn door we created chances but totally fluffed them , robbinson should have score a few .

It's so close the championship that I feel a decent manager and a couple of players in the transfer window and we will be good , it only takes a 4 game winning run to get in the play offs but the longer we wait the more likey any decent manager won't be available.
