Streets ahead of Kanga and did more than Robinson. Unlucky with the scuffed shot but refreshing to see him running at the defenders. Give him more chances. It’s the only way he’ll learn.

I agree.

Did alright when he came on.

A bit keen, but not a bad debut in the Championship.

He'll likely get more chances now.

Is he the answer to our problems? No, but is a better option if we don't sign a forward in January.

If we do, then maybe a loan will do him good.

Done ok today plenty of enthusiasm and what you need when you come on as a sub .Definitely keep him in the match day squad now and bring him on like today as he can ruffle tired defences with his work rate :ayatollah:

I'm in my 40s, left knee replaced, over weight, 10 fags a day and several beers every day I get off work and could do more than kanga. There's many on here like this

Like I said months ago the person who's said this guy was good enough on the scouting side or whatever needs sacking or shooting . Embarrassing in my opinion.

Here is a scouting report on him, must have been written for one of the goon shows.

Wilfried Kanga Scout Report
In this season's scout report, Wilfried Kanga has carved out a unique style of play upfront for Standard Liege in the Pro League A. As the lead Striker with occasional deployment on the left wing, Kanga plays the game with a fierce cutting edge, demonstrated by his promising Goal Efficiency and xG per 90 that reside well above average, capturing the top third percentile for strikers of his league. His enviable Aerial Duels Win % underscores his athleticism and height advantage, being virtually unmatched airwards and helping provide a distinctive edge in set-pieces. Still, while Kanga is proving himself a lethal finisher, certain facets of his play reflect room for improvement. His Ball Recovery and Interceptions, for instance, languish in the bottom percentile, suggesting a need to boost his defensive contribution. His Progressive Passing and Successful Dribbles per 90 are equally wanting, pointing to a potential bottleneck in his ability to construct plays and penetrate defensive lines. An intriguing part of his profile is his relatively lesser engagement with the ball, deducible from his bottom percentile Touches. Yet, his impressive goal and assist stats suggest an explosive playing style, recognizing his ability to make the most from the limited opportunities, akin to a sniper patiently awaiting the perfect shot. Most notably, Kanga's heat map reveals an attacking inclination, with over half his possession in the attacking third and 21% in the attacking penalty area. Yet, his lower mid-field and defensive engagement show a profoundly specialized striker role rather than a complete forward. With an eye on his stats and the other on his style of play, Kanga emerges as a promising striker, a lurking threat in the opponent's box but with room for improvement in his playmaking and defensive duties.
