Robertson said to Rubin

Alex Robertson:

"I just got the ball off Rubin and had a shot and it went in so happy.

He set me up against Plymouth so I said just set me up on the edge of the box and it'll be a goal.

He's easy to play with. He's always finding good pockets, good space.

I can just give the ball to him, he can turn and do his thing. Vice versa, when he gets the ball I'll always be there at the edge of the box."

Great comments.
I like Robertson a lot. Skilful on the ball, but happy to mix it with the opposition when needed, intelligent footballer and always looking to go get us going forward. One of best signings.

Completely agree. Our best bit of business in a long time.

There are systems out there where we can play 2 10's, this allows them to wander. I want to see Rubin drop deeper to get onto the ball more. He is a passer; he is not (IMO) a modern-day or old-fashioned 10.

Be interesting what a more experienced manager would do
