We've become used to not getting players because Tan doesn't care.
But for a club not to appoint a manager, and moreso not seemingly and/or actively doing so borders on the sporting criminal, and plays with the emotions of thousands of supporters.
All pundits on TV say the same sort thing.
Is the stupid dictator saying let's go with no full time manager?
How involved with the team selection doing think the dictator really is???

You think it's a simple case of saying Steve come be our manager? As explained their are expensive contract to consider and is it right time for him he says if opportunity arise? Maybe right for us but is it for him?

I agree that it is bad that we don’t have a manager in but to suggest he has a hand in team selection I think is a bit over the top.
If he was picking the team, it would be the same as it was under Bulut.

I promise you Tan does with certain managers.
Even previous managers have come out months later and said it.

You only have to watch the Sean Morrison interview to see Tan has way too much input into the team than he should.
He should stick to the business side and try and get that right with us first!
Maybe he's holding out no a manager until January, knowing then he will have an excuse not to get the right players in on time again.

Can someone tell me what clubs have gone without a permanent manager for so long?

Occasionally you'll have a club sack a manager in January/February and then have an interim until the end of the season, but not this early in the season will they keep an interim in charge under that title for so long.
I agree totally with the OP.

Don't necessarily mean Steve Cooper, but a manager. Full stop.
With all the potential candidates out there. It would appear, but who knows, at we have not even approached anyone to a.least discuss what they want or what we want.
To the dictator, who I have doubt will get to be aware of this, share please your morals and what you feel your duty is to the club and it's supporters. We'd love to know. It'd probably put a lot of people out of their misery. Why do that though when making us suffer is far more fun??

Its gross mismanagement, completely out of touch and tune to his customers, us the loyal fan base.
In his early days, remember those videos from his office he used to send us? The despicable rebrand was happening but at least we had communication and clarity on where he wanted to take us even though I hated it. None of that for years now. We are clueless as supporters, of where we are heading, if we have a philosophy, what our brand of football is, any future plans, what our recruitment structure is and much much more. Our anniversary year has been a disaster so far to the point where open letters of concern are being written. Instead of a celebration its threat of relegation and disillusion.
And Januarys of the past reveal the squad rarely get strengthened due to low budgets and zero ambition.
And we always end up with a manager whose name never appears on fans wanted lists of bookies predictions.
Yes, a gross negligence of duty, including interfering with tactics, hiring and firing poor managers, messing with tradition and imposing his culture and beliefs onto our identity.
He knows what he has to do to restore harmony. Keep the current badge, change red seats to blue, actually take stock of what fans, pundits, media and bookies are saying with manager recommendations and at least interview them, have a serious word with Wayne Nash and set up a consultations with fans groups, forget about Malky, Moody, Cornelius and Murphy and dip his hand in his pocket for January. Restore pride and passion.
I have zero faith in him

In that case the club is even more rotten than I believed
