Yes and I also remember the time we were told that we would be debt free and also we were going places changing to RED and also the change of badge.

But biggest slap down for me was the owner telling us loyal faithful long suffering paying our hard earned wedge ( and some great times in the past) that we were now CUSTOMERS.

Always makes me laugh when clubs say they'll follow another club's model.

It never works.

Many have talked about following the model of Brighton or Brentford.

But clubs who have tried that haven't been successful.

If it was so easy to follow a model, everyone would do what Brighton or Brentford do - doesn't work like that.

If they want to be different, clubs need to think up their own innovative ideas to be successful really.


It's a bit like opening up a fried chicken shop and saying you'll base the model on KFC. Easier said than done.

Wtf you talking about? What I've posted is correct got sfa all to do with tan..... if you want a pop at me at least do it when you know what your talking about... no club follows another clubs model because all clubs are financially different demografically different need I go on ?

We are following the Brighton model…unfortunately it is the 1990’s model when they ended up skint, got relegated and played on a hockey pitch in front of 5000 fans!!
