Vincent Tan surely you are not...

Thu Dec 05, 2024 10:30 am

Blind .... To Cardiff City's position, precarious position. You leaving us without strikers for years is one thing, without a manager? And then it appears you appoint the inexperienced manager in situ clearly believing he is a better man for the job than all the other candidates that are and have been available?

Stupid..... To think the fans are unaware of your distain and complete lack of ambition for our Capital City Club A club that, before you came in was CONSISTENTLY challenging at the top end of the Championship, and now has been reduced to rubble

Deaf...... To the noise of anger and upset of 99% of the fans. JUST READ THIS BOARD. Deaf to all the TV pundits

Heartless....... To allow a Capital City football club to die a slow death while you sit back, watch, and throw it crumbs from your table. Heartless enough to destroy the hopes and dreams of tens of thousands of supporters, young and old.

Proud..... of What you are doing to this once great club

Of the Understanding...... That Football makes you money? That you are entitled to get back the, in fairness, hundreds of Millions, you have put into the club.

letting petty squabbles....... with an individual who has a clear passion and vision for our club, get in the way of YOU getting part of your money back, and THE SUPPORTERS reigniting a flicker of hope

Going to turn our once vociferous, amazing support....... into absolute complete apathy instead of the current partial apathy

Going to create a legacy........ of failure and sadness?

Great post.

One positive is Tan is now 72, not wishing the worst of course, but sometime soon he will no longer be part of this club :bluescarf:

Great post!!
Vincent Tan has nearly killed our club and even after he is gone it will take many years to recover. People's passion for this club has dwindled all because of ONE person.
Hate is a strong word but it's certainly one I would use on how I feel about him

A good post but not strictly accurate. We were not consistently challenging at the top end of the Championship before Vincent Tan arrived. Before he took over we had two decent finishing positions in 2008-09 and 2009-10 but prior to that we had 5 mid table finishes following our promotion to the second tier.

Then I can categorically say that we were consistently competitive, and more often that relegation we were flirting with the play offs on a far more regular basis.
