Better the Devil you know...

So let's say Protests go well... Tan takes note.. sells (best case scenario) he won't sell to sam, it would prob be some American hedge fund investors... short term success and then asset strip! Is that what people want????

For what it's worth I don't think tan will take any notice of this protest in January...especially 1 protest March. I'm not saying that I don't think it's justified as it is 100% the reply from the club regarding fab letter disgusting, dalman, choo awol & hiring a manager who has f**k all experience because he's a nodding dog.. we've had enough I get it! It's frustrating as we all know the board, owner and puppets working there (nash) don't give a flying f**k what we say or do...and 1 letter and match won't make a difference

Stockholm syndrome has taken the club over. Too scared of the unknown so we feel we have to stick with this clown and his muppet board. WE DESERVE BETTER

Does' nt have to be just 1 protest also tv media will also have an impact.
The question you should ask yourself is,

Should i bother or not,?

Should i go to the game or not,?

Do i want this to continue?

do i want a change?

Shall i make an effort to try to do something or not?

Do i want to be relagated or not bothered?

Shall i just sit back season after season and accept it as it is?

Shall i join my fellow fans on the terrace who want a change of direction and stand with them?

Will i change anything?

These are the things i have asked myself and have made a decision.

The devil is the devil though.

He sells up and we take it from there.

Apart from the Malky season when he was a sugar daddy, he hasn't gone big. We are only losing money through his poor decisions rather than grandiose spending

So basically you're saying "things are bad now, but they could be even worse".

They could equally (and more likely in my view) be a lot better with a new owner.

And this is why I worry there won't be enough people protesting against the owner.

Too many people are happy to just watch this club fall. They have talked themselves into thinking that Tan isn't that bad after all, when deep down they know he is.

There's no logic to saying "oh well the next owner could be just as bad".

That's like saying there's no point in signing a new striker because they could struggle just as much as Kanga.

It's madness.

As well as the Malky season Warnock wasn’t exactly hamstrung on the money front !! Massive contracts to people like Smithies, etc. £11m on Murphy, big money on Decordova-Reid, big wages to Camarassa, £15m on Sala, etc., etc.

That’s just to correct your summary.

That said, I do think it’s time for change but only if we have someone with the money to satisfy Tan plus money to invest in the squad/structure. That’s a big ask and, whilst others say there have been interested parties, none have satisfied Tan’s asking price.

Protest is futile if there is no realistic, viable alternative. Let’s hear from these prospective buyers as to their plans and viability, then we can make an informed choice on who/what we back as a supporters base.

We should definitely be careful what we cd wish for!
A reality check is needed, we are surviving, is that ideal? no, however, realistically yes…
If there are buyers out there, who are they?
We are one of so many league clubs that would love a rich investor, but wake up and smell the coffee, they are few ..
If Tan does say, ok, I will give you what you want and walk away..i just hope there is an investor waiting as some say…

Did i hear he is worth more than tan today,
if so he would be a much better offering than tan

Re: Better the Devil you know...

We've got a problem getting rid of tan! According to some we are £200m in debt
Well for argument sake it is £200m .....£30m owed to dalman.... that leaves further £170m now as far as can tell rest of clubs debt belongs
to tan? So if tan wants to sell whoever wants club as to pay tan whatever debt club as... so can't simply pay tan £50m unless we expect tan to forfeit the rest of the money owed? So tans demand for 100m+ looks correct as far as he's concerned and its nothing to do with wanting to much its simply what he's owed.

Vincent Tan had Not just run Our Club beyond Awful and not Decreased the Debt, But increased it.

Borrowed money and said he never would.

Every 4/5 years said we would be Debt Free.

More Court Cases than any Chairman I’ve ever known and lost most, Costing Our Club £Millions Beyond

Stripped Our Identity and Divided us.

Disgraceful Badge Still.

No Real Communication.

Had a Chairman & CEO Both on High Wages paid by Our Club, But Work for Tan in his London Businesses.

All the Malaysian Advertising / On Shirts / On Stadium.

Etc etc etc etc

I could write a Book just on what Tan has done to Our Beloved Club.

Never attends matches / Gone through Managers beyond/ Employs Mostly Yes Men.

AND REMEMBER TAN HAS HAD AT LEAST 4 BUYERS HES TURNED AWAY AND WANTS £200 MILL & OUR CLUB THANKS TO TANS REGIME HAS CURRENTLY GIT US £100 MILL APPROX IN DEBT PAYING INTEREST:
