O’Dowda gave it what he could in his defence, but he can’t do it on his own.
Obvious the players know what’s going on within the hierarchy. Their body language has said it all recently.
They all look completely confidence shot!

Should have a bit of pride and decency to at least acknowledge the fans. Bunch of jokers
Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:07 pm
Gutless the entire lot of them .City fans will except a loss as long as the team give 100% .
That was miles off so they all deserve the criticism it was shameful.
Give us 100% or don't bother because that tonight isn't what cardiff city fans expect
Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:07 pm
Ralls aside, none of this lot will get remembered. An absolute shite squad of gutless characterless muppets.

Was Meite cupping his ears today the useless lump?
Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:13 pm
This team has relegation stamped all over it.
No leader, no quality,no fight, and no goals. It’s the perfect storm.
Plus no inspiration in the dugout.
Reminds me of one of our shit 80s teams.

Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:35 pm
When has rizal come out and recognised the fans? Not once as far as I can remember
Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:45 pm
I can't remember being that p155ed off with the players before. They all looked like they really couldn't be bothered and didn't want to be there.
If that attitude continues for the rest of the season, we are definitely going down.

Players hiding
On the pitch and in the sick bay

I remember reading an article on leadership from an experienced US Vietnam vet.
They all loved West Point grads when they were back at base as they could take the piss and they had it easy. When out in the field they sometimes "accidentally" got shot with a Viet Con pistol as the inexperienced fcuker was going to get them killed.
That's our management team and now the reality is hitting home. They are fcuked most won't be getting new deals as we are going down and their championship paydays are over.
We could play to midnight and still not score
PS- Colwill is a deep-lying playmaker or L2. Never a 10 as long as he has a hole is his a**e
Wed Dec 11, 2024 11:12 pm
Back to basics, we are not capable of this boring, keep ball, passing rubbish. Totally ineffective!!!
Riza didn’t pull his hands out of his pockets all game.
Embarrassing from top to the top bottom.

We were very flat, not enough energy and intensity," Omer began. "There was a lack of quality in possession. We trained on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and it was enough to make sure we were ready for this game.
"They’ve [Preston] played a game on Saturday and we haven’t. We were lucky to go in at 0-0 at half-time. Players want to play, but when they do play they have to do more.
"We have a turnaround now and we have to look at a few things from a coaching perspective, how we approach the next game and to try and get something out of the game."
Omer Riza
After a 2-0 defeat to the Lilywhites, City's next fixture is a trip to face Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
"It’s about performances and winning games, but we didn’t have it today. We’ve got to get on with it and there will be more conversations to get to the bottom of what happened today.
"We get through it by talking, getting out on the grass and applying those principles again and making sure they’re ready for the next game. You can’t think about it for too long, because you take it into the next game. You have to make sure we put it right.
"The crowd were excellent today and tried to raise the boys’ intensity levels. That shouldn’t be the case. The players should be giving that energy to the fans, not the other way around. We have to move forwards.
"For me, it’s a challenge and it’s something that I have to deal with. If I want longevity in the game, these are the things you have to come through. We’ve lost the game today and we weren’t good enough, but we have to pick ourselves up and go again in the next game.
"If I ponder too long on it, I won’t be doing my players, my staff and the Club a favour. I just need to get on with it now and look at what we need to do. There will be changes and we need to see a reaction."

O’Dowda was my man of the match last night. The guy never stops and always giving 100%. He was literally playing on his own out there. And you could see the frustration in his face so often. When he played a 10 yard pass expecting Willock to be moving and he was just static summed it up.

I agree mate. Shame most of the others didn't have his attitude. Decent bloke, always comes across well and was the one player to walk close to the Canton applauding. Ralls and Robertson also came fairly close, not sure who the others think they are tbh!!!

Our dead ball delivery was absolute rubbish, no crosses coming in when they had the chance, ( a good example of that was Colwill) It is so so negative, Ralls went to take a free kick way back from where it was given, and even then he passed it back. The ref gave a re take because of substitutions. What is with this constant passing back? It's not the game I want to see.
Thu Dec 12, 2024 8:48 pm
I see absolutely no point in the pass, pass, pass gameplan!
What are we trying to do, (i knows the answer) create overloads. But the free man is often Perry NG, a bloke who'll be a centre half in a season or two.
It is criminal, we are just copying the new coach manual without any adaption for our uniqueness. We have no pace, no wide forwards, it's crying out for wingbacks. Our center forward has lost any gas, he was burnt by a center-half yesterday and the U-21 kid, looks like a kid just out of an academy.
Its a mess. Does Riza have any new ideas?
