The fan base has spoken

Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:00 pm

The majority of our fanbase is now not attending games.the attitude is if the club and hierarchy treat us with ignorance ,disdain, and lack of effort we'll do the same and leave them be,

Get used to those crowds if Tan stays and we are in League One next season.

The game was so boring my son actually counted the Preston fans, he reckons there was 191 :laughing6:

He could have counted the Cardiff fans - wouldn't have taken much longer.

i just don't care anymore. The club don't care nor do I

L1 or scrapping around in the championship, I can see myself watching us on the box next season.

It hurts me to say but money is the only thing Tan cares about and L1 will hurt him more than me.

Sorry I am not a firebrand, he won't bat an eyelid on protests, it was only losing money that made him return to blue.

I'll protest though

I decided not to go to the Watford game before it was called off and didn't bother with Preston either which was lucky...so boring... don't think I'll bother for a while...just nothing to get excited about anymore...needs changing from top to bottom...club is now soulless...

Don't know how true that is, spoke to my mate who's a steward, said they were only expecting 10, 000 fans tonight then spoke to him as I was leaving saying it was alot less than they were told 8000/9000 in reality

I want us to win every game and perform well each game but I just don't understand why some fans decide not to go because we're not playing well and losing.

Yes our club is being run badly but I think some use that as an excuse not to go.

I was there last night, I plan on going to every home game and I plan on renewing my season ticket next season whatever league we are in.

Cardiff City is my club :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Maybe it’s time to change your stance Mike? No fans showing up is the only thing that will hurt Tan.
Players looks like they don’t give one, Tan clearly doesn’t, he’s completely clueless. We need him gone. I think he will only sell if fans stop going en mass as it will embarrass him and pride is a huge thing in the far east.

Good on you….work hard for your cash and free time, did it look like the players were putting in a shift last night? Even they don’t care….clubs gone.

It’s not about having an excuse.

It might be for others but for me it’s not.

A lot of us on here sacrifice family time for City.

I for one have been at the City rain or shine since the early 90s, and now I’m a bit older, I value my time more.

The board don’t care, the players don’t care.

I’m now going to spent my free time with my family instead of watching a bunch of overpaid, non caring, lazy tosspots every weekend.

Exactly same for me….ive found it hard to go for the last 10 years if I’m honest. Feels like a alien club to me nowadays

I understand what you're saying and I'd stop going if it was an organised mass boycott but until then I'll keep supporting my team.

I as many have sacrificed family time to watch city home and away for countless years and I also went when we were down the bottom of division 4 watching football that makes this team look like Barcelona.

It's all about feelings and opinions. Mine is, as long as I'm mentally and physically able, I'll be there to support my team whoever the players are, whoever the manager is and the owner is as I have done for nearly 49 years.

Everyone has different feelings on the matter.

I on the other hand, am not wasting my weekends when even the players don’t care, when I can spend my time with people who do care.

f**k Tan.

The scattering of fans at the match said it all about the enthusiasm at present.
I made a decision not to renew my season ticket this season and my decision has been justified.
I only attend Saturday fixtures these days, so I was not there to witness another appalling defeat. ( I can't be asked to attend on cold mid-week games watching this rubbish)
Nevertheless, I am still glued to the radio commentary each match to keep up with events.

It's been clear to see that since our last relegation from the Premiership, the quality of both perminent transfers and loan deals has steadily deteriorated each season.
We can only dream of players of the quality of the likes of Harry Wilson, Jaden Philogene,Cody Drameh,Sory Kaba,Tommy Doyle, Ryan Giles, Cedric Kipre, Nat Phillips in the squad these days.
Who do we end up with this season; the free scoring Wilfried Kanga!

I am beyond blaming the manager, or players for the relegation position we are in. I believe they are doing what they can to get the results we strive for. They are simply not good enough at Championship level. Indeed, most probably belong at a lower level.

No, this is all about Mr Tan and the board.
The up and coming protest is absolutely necessary as a starting point for change, prior to the expected relegation to the basement divisions, so I hope it is well supported!
But the protests must continue beyond the Swansea match if we are to get the result we want! :old: :old:

I'm totally with you there my issue is though since 1975 I've supported Cardiff city AFC the bluebirds and the only time they weren't there to support was 2 and years under tan
