Any fans left of tan who can justify this?

Surley now you have had enough like the rest of us ?

There ain't no way he can be defended now surley?

And if you do defend/support him then why? What good is he doing for us right now ??

Poor managers players on a free with high wages, empty stadium no communication with fans.

The list goes on #tanout

I would be surprised if there are any Tan fans left, regardless of them admitting it or not

He has destroyed a club which had a passionate fan base and he’s done it all without a care in the world

I would love to know the answer to this.

Can't understand how anyone can still back him.

I’d be happy for Tan to move on but don’t believe he’s destroyed the Club. We’ve had many years in the championship and 2 attempts at the PL. We are not a well run Club for sure and the management team is very poor. But we’ve been bankrolled at least. Sam nearly destroyed the Club with his lies and complete mismanagement, yet on this forum he’s still lauded as some kind of god.

Bankrolled but yet in substantially more debt than we ever were under Sam.

I have supported Tan but have been saying for 18 months it’s time for a change.

However, changing owners isn’t like changing managers or even players.

In order for this to happen somebody has to offer the figure that Tan wants; nobody has yet. And even then, any new owner needs significant additional monies to invest in the manager/players, etc.

People keep saying there have realistic offers recently. But technically that’s wrong, it’s only realistic if it tempts Tan to sell and they haven’t.

Tan is investing millions every season just to keep us afloat so whoever takes over will need very deep pockets !!

Depends how you class debt.

Under Sam we owed money to many external creditors as well as Langston who he claimed , at the time, wasn’t him (subsequently proved it was). The largest creditor under Tan is Tan, followed by Dalman.

We also had a fire sale of players under Sam on Black Friday, just to keep the club going. We’ve never got as close to losing the club under Tan.

It’s time for Tan to move on, but we have to be very careful who/ what we wish for.

I don't believe we have to be TOO careful. The reason being Tan owns most of the debt.

If we go down to L1 he has 3 choices as I see it.

1. Sell at a massive loss, much lower than he has been offered by 4 different investors.
2. Keep bankrolling a team in massive decline.
3. Put us into administration and lose everything.

If I was his advisor I'd say, the fanbase hates you, the team of freebies are crap and you are in serious danger of getting relegated. SELL NOW. :bluebird:

Tan and MD have always been playing the passive aggressive game for years by saying we are always up for sale as everything has its price. What a stupid thing to say when you expect the owner and chairman to at least lie and pretend they show they care about the club, it's fans and heritage.

What a cheap look and tells you all you should know about them.

I and many others also noted his comment that he would leave the club in a better condition than he found it. Well at the moment, we are far from that.

And right now, we are yet again fighting relegation, in a far worse state financially even if most of the debt is owed to him and with crowds dwindling.

And what will be the available budget in January to bolster out squad just to avoid relegation? Not a lot I would wager, hence Riza's appointment to try to get the best of what he's got with no real investment in the now all important window.

The £200M he wants represents almost HALF of his families business total net worth. Fair enough he wants a good chunk of that back and the only way that's going to happen is if we are bought as a sustainable premier league club. But the way it's going we will be a sustainable league 1 club and that's a slippery slope if he wants his money back for sure.
