Hang in there lads

Wed Dec 11, 2024 11:36 pm

Just got in. An extra hour of driving due to a few diversions and closures. Went to game straight from work a long day. And many others had far worse and longer days than me. Unacceptable performance, horrific at times, outsung by a small crowd Preston fans who we made look like league leaders at times. Those of you thinking that enough is enough hang in there guys, I’m hanging on by a thread, but don’t let the tyrant “take my Cardiff away”. It’s not fun anymore, it’s painful it’s upsetting it’s draining it’s frustrating. Driving home to Caerleon past the city centre , as I have done for decades is a reminder of how bigger and better our capital City is becoming and we deserve a good competitive football team , which is well run and loved by its fans and owners, The City and surrounding areas deserve that. We are the opposite. As my fellow Bluebird Frank Zappa fans will know “The Torture Never Stops” and it doesn’t. It keeps coming and it’s all on Tan. And I can’t believe I’m about to book Boxing Day at Oxford. But I am. I can’t believe not even Tan would give a relegation scrap with a tired uninspired squad to a rookie manager to sort out, it’s madness, but he did! So just checking in, knackered angry upset but I’m hanging in there, keep the faith lads. I know we all have breaking points and I’m aware I do, I’m a single parent with two city fans to pay for too, I can’t afford it, time is against me with my working day but I do it. Even though Vincent Tan has made our beloved club excruciating. I’ll need you to motivate me when I’m on the verge of stopping the way it’s going! Hang in there lads. And protest!

Great post mate.
I'll be hanging in there. Those 3 are not going to break my allegiance to MY club.
I will be protesting. :bluebird:

Spot on mate :ayatollah:
This is a big low but we've experienced them plenty of times before and come out the other side and we can do it again.

Keep the faith.
Keep supporting our team.
