Bottom 5

Sat Dec 14, 2024 5:52 pm

A little bit of a gap beginning to grow now between the bottom five and those above them.

Quite likely I think that the bottom five tonight will be the same as those at the end of the season as all of those clubs are in wretched form at the moment.

However we can perhaps take some hope from QPR's improvement since they beat us.

What we need is a comfortable 2-0 away win against a team playing absolute shite to give us that kick start we need to move up the table.

Like QPR had when they played us.

We need to stay in the top two of our five club mini league.

And Riza needs to learn extremely quickly how to hold onto a lead.

Back to back wins is enough to leave it. This division is bonkers. QPR were rock bottom when they beat us.

Teams have games in hands so not evenly matched. But the relegation scrap is very clear Hull, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Oxford, QPR and City the main candidates. I have maintained for a whole that Plymouth, Oxford and Portsmouth are the 3 to drop this year but my God its close. City in the greatest danger of going down since coming up for sure. Sadly we will 99% be in the bottom 3 for Xmas which is always a bad omen too. Sheff Utd will toy with us.
