Kieffer Moore is the obvious one.

He came off the bench for Sheffield United to score his third league goal of the season on Saturday.

Previously he scored 25 league goals for us.

Chris Wilder returned to Sheffield United for his second spell in charge in December 2023.

He was previously in the job and took them to the Premier League. They have begun this season looking like one of the favourites to go up.

Sheffield United's takeover by an American consortium has been completed and will be officially announced soon, BBC Radio Sheffield reports.

The group, which is led by Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy, said they had received full clearance from the English Football League earlier this month.

The takeover brings an end to Saudi Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's five-year spell as sole owner of the club.

The Blades are top of the Championship with 45 points from 21 games as they look to win promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Rosen is the founder and chairman of Resilience Capital Partners, while Eltoukhy chairs biotech company Guardant Health.

Last month football finance expert Adam Sommerfeld speculated that all of the clubs in the Premier League and EFL could have American investment within the next five to 10 years.

My sketchy information is that they will be missing three players Vini Souza their Brazilian defensive midfielder …and Anel Ahmedhodzic their towering C1/2 …..also doubtful their tricky - very on form - forward Tyrese Campbell (keep an eye on this one).


On the bad side for us is …. Kiefer Moore is fit again and will figure in their team either to start ….or more likely off the bench


Also ex Swan Rhian Brewster who mainly plays wide for them (but also as a 10) …is available after injury .

Does anyone have a sneaky feeling like me …..that perhaps because it is Sheffield Utd …..at a time when they are top of the Championship ….. we will rise to the occasion ?


We are very easily motivated because we have nothing to lose …..everyone expects us to lose …..so ZERO pressure .

Finally a period of possession for Cardiff, admittedly in their own half, but it appears to have settled them a tad.

Nice break from Cardiff there but Willock's cross is blocked. It loops into the path of Siopis who, with one career goal to his name, fancies his chances. But his volley dribbles into the hands of Michael Cooper.

A good move from the Bluebirds sees the ball moved by El Ghazi but the ‘obvious’ ball out t Bagan was missed and the resulting shot was speculative at best…
