Hamstrings

Sat Dec 14, 2024 10:38 pm

I’ve been saying this for a long time / look at previous posts - our players don’t warm up properly pre match - that is why I think our medics etc are frigging useless - and we have had so many hamstring injuries. Many long term. Turnbull now our for probably the season. Our medical team are just rubbish bit these injuries keep them in a job. Their mission should be to PREVENT them.

Surprised Turnbull moved fast enough to damage his hamstring.

Giggs also credited taking up yoga as helping him overcome the problem.

I remember being told by an orthopaedic surgeon that footballers are prone to building up up their quads as they think they are the main muscles needed to be developed. But they overlook focusing as much on the hamstrings to balance things out. So they effectively end up with under developed hamstrings. He said Tevez was a prime example of it.
Maybe the S&C of the team isn’t what it should be.

Adama treore at Fulham looks as if his hamstrings is on his arms the size of them? :laughing6: But sometimes its just one of those things some players never get injuries that kept them out more than 2 games... look at modric/Ronaldo going strong at 38+.... callum Wilson in premier out since God knows when comes back 2 games out again recurring injury!
Not sure rambo is finished but need bit of luck injury wise and maybe take up yoga... :laughing6:
