Gold Medal winner Keely Hodgkinson wins the BBC Sports Personality of the year award

Sports Personality of the Year takes place between 7pm and 9pm tonight.

Who should win?

The bookies make Hodgkinson the clear favourite with Littler second favourite.

I assume it's Keeleys. I always find it hard to vote against a pretty athletic blond girl.

PS- darts is a pastime not a sport ;)

It's a question of achievements.

Littler has undoubtedly achieved a lot in the past year.

But I would be minded to vote for Hodgkinson. A gold medal winner and, barring serious injuries, will probably be the world record holder soon.

Agree and at least he did no go home empty handed tonight - He was voted the Young SPOTY .

Bale was nominated twice 2014 and 2016 so nothing too do with him being Welsh
