I had it closer than that, but Usyk must one of greatest ever

I don't follow boxing but why would that make him one of the greatest ever? Or was it sarcasm?

He's cleaned up 2 weight divisions with relitive ease. He's on the top table, without a doubt. Arguably one of the best records in the history of the sport from amateur to pro and whoever else he beats before hanging up the gloves.

Olympic gold medal
Undisputed cruiserweight champion
Undisputed heavyweight champion
Undefeated as a pro.

You'll hear his name as long as boxing is a sport.

If you say so, I had never heard of him until his name appeared on here.

You said you don't follow boxing, so that explains it.

I don't follow boxing but I have heard of some boxers but never this guy. Might have something to do with boxing not being as high profile as it was years ago as well as my indifference to it. I was more interested in your comment than him as I couldn't decide if you were being sarcastic with your "one of the greatest ever" comment, now I know you were being serious we can leave it at that.

Was the best at amateur level.

Moved into the professional ranks and cleaned up at cruiserweight level winning all the titles there.

Moved up a weight level to Heavyweight and has won all the titles there beating the best of the rest Tyson Fury who outweighed him by about 55 pounds. Didn’t beat him by running either he stalked him down and beat him because he is a machine.

He has to be up there in consideration as best pound for pound ever.

As an aside. I am really glad that Usyk won as they were talking about Fury v AJ had Fury won. Although maybe that was just talk as the guy running the boxing division of the Saudi sports washing seems like a boxing fan rather than someone who wants the sport of fight where someone loses heavily to Dubois then gets another title opportunity.
