Cardiff player set to leave as more to leave to bring 2 New

Mon Dec 23, 2024 12:46 pm

2-3 New players expected to arrive on loan or free agents in January depending how many Riza can move out:

Riza has stated: “I only need 2 more players in January and that will be enough.”

Jamilu Collins appears to be edging closer to the exit door at Cardiff City.

Collins is understood to be unhappy with his current situation, given how little he has played this season, something which has been unfamiliar to the left-back throughout his playing career.

The likes of Ryotaro Tsunoda, Cian Ashford, Wilfried Kanga and others have all been earmarked as potential departures next month.

But Collins' exit now looks increasingly likely, too. When asked why Collins was not included in the squad at the weekend, with uncapped academy players Troy Perrett and Ronan Kpakio named on the bench:

Omer Riza :

"He's just not involved at the minute. He's not in the squad."

He added: "We've got the window coming up in January. Like I stated before, players will be going out, to make way for 2-3 new players.”

“Whether it be loans or whether it's moving on. That's all I can really say on that at the minute."

“We need two new players and I feel that will be enough.”

Isn't our loan allocation full?
We need quality in all departments, we need 5 or 6 players to give us any chance of staying up.

Not good enough imo but depends who he’s thinking of bringing in.

Riza thinks he only needs 2 players ?? This is very worrying.

We don’t need to bring back King and Evans. Not good enough but we do need to bring back Wintle and Joel Colwill as our centre of midfield is bare as we can’t count on the injury prone Ralls or Ramsey at all. Big loss losing Turnbull. Etete and Davies can only be used sparingly otherwise they will break down again. We need a fast direct winger and 2 forwards. If we can’t score we can’t survive. Simple.

And to let joe colwill go elswhere with ramsy missing turnball missing ralls injury prone
It seems we get what we deserve most can see colwill is decent in mid field but we will ignore him as regards only 2 players required we have 9 players out now.

Think he does, it’s just a translation of “I am only allowed 2 players from Mr Tan”

This was part of the plan when Omar met Tan in Nov like previous years - where get rid of players to get players in .
Let's hope we can get some more points on the board before the end of this transfer window .

If Ashford wasn’t “one of our own” people would be calling for him to go.

Let' hope that a striker is on that list - along with may be getting them in the 1st or 2nd week of Jan :o
Unlike last season where we left it until - The last 2 days of Jan

Bang on Brezza.

Not convinced we should let Ashford go either. Half decent forward players are scarce for us.

This is much nearer the truth!! As much as it will hurt to see my beloved Cardiff City in Division 1, it will probably need to happen if these clowns in charge are to sell up and go!! :bluescarf: :banghead: :bluescarf:
