ONLY ONE WAY OUT OF THIS NIGHTMARE

Fri Dec 27, 2024 6:42 am

Bring in Warnock. I wanted him after Bulut got sacked but many on here didn't want to go back, they said we needed a younger manager with modern ideas, now i havn't got a problem with that, bring in someone young with exciting ideas, go forward football, a 2 year plan with financial backing. Problem is we are not run like a normal club, we are run by 3 lunatics and i knew they would go down this road and if you think that Riza will get funded in January then forget it. Step in Warnock, he will at least get this spineless, gutless team playing for the shirt and he will get results.

The more I think about it, the only way I see out of this perpetual cycle is for the club to go down.

So we stay up by the skin of our teeth this year? Next year is exactly the same.

Is boycotting the answer? I don’t think so
Is protesting the answer? Yes, partly effective

The only way I see to get Tan out is for us to go down and reset the club completely, top to bottom.

Hope he cuts his losses and fucks off with the rest of his toxic clowns.

Fair point, but try and hang on and pray for new owners would be ideal.

Tan has a huge decision to make soon

He has spent so much money (mainly due to his own ridiculous decision making and chaotic and piss poor appointments) that he has effectively backed himself into a corner

He has to either spend big money on a new manager and players in January in the hope of us staying up or if not see us relegated which will cost him an extra £5/6 million pounds to keep us afloat next season

Either way because of his stupidity and stubbornness he is going to be millions and millions more out of pocket and he can’t walk away because if we go into administration he can kiss his £200 million investment goodbye

I’m really not sure what’s going to happen next??

Yep it’s a huge few weeks for the club as a whole and I’m really not sure how all this is all going to pan out

I have zero confidence in the owner or the board so personally I think we are in big, big trouble

I think he’s just hanging on for a Sala decision to go his way. Whilst that’s in his head, I think the rest is of little interest to him.
It sounds mad and is mad.

Even if we do win the case there’s not a hope in hell of Nantes paying up

There will be appeal after appeal lasting years and then they would probably plead poverty and just go into administration so we get Fcuk all

Tan would have to be a madman to believe we are going to get money out of this sorry saga…which is part of the problem because he is a lunatic!!

This has been coming for years we all new it.The way I see it is Tan has to have us in the championship to be able to sell us .He has this deluded idea that the sala case will pay big so he's hanging on for the pay out .We do have the sixth highest wages for players in the league but the issue is the entire structure of the club doesn't work .Tan himself makes so many ridiculous decisions for the club that it's now finally caught up to us .If you run any business the way he has run cardiff city then it will fail.
There is also a big distance between the fans and the club it's us and them and I wonder if the players feel the same .you could have 100 managers employed they'd all fail because the structure isn't right .it all lands with Tan dalman and cho these three men are the ingredients for success or demise. People no this and this is what fans arnt happy about .
They never appear at games the transfer policy and recruitment is a shambles and the constant changes of the management is crazy. They have broken there own club .Who in football would change the shirt colour every fan of football knows what this would do to a club .They are utterly clueless the three of them but one man makes all the decisions and that's Tan .Yes he has spent millions but stupidly. Then there was the promise of debt free which is now worse than when he stated.
The results of years of all this is a spoilt brat of an owner who feels sorry for himself and blames everyone else apart from himself.
Cardiff city is now a stagnant mess with no new investment no structure no philosophy no ambitions and no guidance. Tan waits for 200m when other clubs better placed than cardiff are sold for less.
We are it seems stuck with Tan .
He either investment and swallows some humble pie and takes on some advice on how to invest or he sells for a much lower price .
My bet is he will do absolutely nothing and Cardiff will be in league one next year we should of gone season before last but reading saved us .
It's an embarrassing mess you don't have to have a business degree to work it all out .
It's all blead out on to the pitch like a pandemic with no cure and that's the absolute nightmare this club are in .
Protests are next and who can blame the fans for it but it will just make tans stubbornness even worse and so the show goes on and on and on like a broken record.
The only fix is new owners in my opinion

Agree with almost all of that mate.

We have to understand the South/South East Asian culture.

Very rarely will people from this part of the world “ loose face”, you saw it with blue and badge change blaming his mum !

You see it in the tragic sala case.

You see it in the Sam Hammam case.

Personally, I feel that he does not care a jot about our club it’s as if he is willing to write off the money just to save face as that is the most hurtful thing to him.

Yes he has put money into our great club but mad catastrophic decisions ( bad advice?).

Where do we go from here?

Well we won't get any money before January so it's a mute point? His decision is lose £100m or reverse his decision making and appt decent manager with decent sighnings in January...once get relegated cannot see us going straight back up for maybe 3 or more years simply because will lose 98% of our current players and income drops staggeringly also new rules mean owners can only spend 75% investment on playing side of club... so catastrophic financial blow for tan..as never retrieve his money maybe £30m if lucky .....as for dalman god knows how get his investment back

Warnock is not the answer. I've said it before and I'll just keep on saying it.

Just look at his last two jobs, failed at both.

Can't get away with using his dodgy contacts anymore so will always struggle wherever he goes from now on.

Re: ONLY ONE WAY OUT OF THIS NIGHTMARE

Warnock wouldn't be able to get a tune out of this group.

You look at any successful Warnock team, relegation avoiding or promotion and they all have solid experienced players who are honest and can win ugly. Your SM SB AG CP type players. We haven't got any apart from Ralls but his legs are gone.

Only way out of this mess is a huge turn around of investment, starting with a big wages for a statement making manager and then invest heavily in 3 to 4 players in January, that's if they'll come.

I know this won't happen but I can't see any other way out of this mess.

A change of ownership may give us a positive in the long run but it won't stop us going down as it will take time to go through.

Relegation is minimum £100m hit for him and the longer he stays the more it becomes.....New efl rules will compound our chances of getting promotion and it could easily take years to achieve it... there is only the one option and keeping riza or promoting purse is not an option .....and yes very quiet Almost as if there's something in background as despite wat people think of tan he knows what needs to be donr6 to save his £100m

Warnock isn't the answer....

I think relegation is looking inevitable and frankly I think we need a reset...a huge clear out, new owner and club run on proving young players who connect with us fans with passion and desire...that's all I want...I am not bothered about he premiership. Best times following city for me were in the dungeon so holds no fears...

Tan is the biggest problem so all efforts should be about getting him out of the club and hopefully leaving us debt free like he promised many times

A new owner to come in and run the club professionally with football men involved in transfers for both managers, recruitment and scouting.

Let's reset with all this please Santa

We certainly need a new owner but I don't think relegation is ever the answer to any question, just the same as wanting us to lose is never the answer to a bad manager like someone who wanted Mick mcC gone argued for.

Allan

Yes tidy xmas ta

It cost me a ticket for me and missis caravan site fees even without site fees its £80 2 tickets fuel parking ,
season tickets where a waste of time as cannot attend every game.

I feel i need to be at the march as i was one of the instigators as towards pushing the swansea derby game etc and want to be there to try and do something to call him and the board out,
this is not acceptable season after season Tan just sitting on his investment with no interest in progress unless it can be done on the cheap and watching the club disintegrating.

Hope you enjoyed your hols budd

Yes the owner and board have some big decisions to make this next week coming up,
it will be interesting and in a weird way funny to see they will be scratching there heads with this one and what is going to be the outcome this time
Tan has' nt had anyone over at his pad dalhman and choo are on a musk flight to the moon its all very quite.

Still on them gb virgin Isles today Antigua for couple days tomorrow... home 4th jan.... monty even an idiot can see riza with purse is not going to keep us in championship.... its bollocks to say tan couldn't care less about the money? Relegation is minimum £100m hit for him and the longer he stays the more it becomes.....New efl rules will compound our chances of getting promotion and it could easily take years to achieve it... there is only the one option and keeping riza or promoting purse is not an option .....and yes very quiet Almost as if there's something in background as despite wat people think of tan he knows what needs to be donr6 to save his £100m

You maybe right it will all come a head when we loose at watford sat tan put himself in this position nobody else enjoy the rest of hols
See you on the protest.

Watford is the turning point you'd think but with tan anything can happen but no point sacking him end January thats for sure... if he's still here I shall not be going to games give my St to friends for rest season ... you go to games expecting to win at home but now go expecting to lose! At nearly £100 a game for me the effort to get to games it's not worth the problems it causes me as getting old :laughing6: ...but I support the rallye in spirit.. hope you had good xmas
though.

It's a big delema for some people the cost? i wont give up my St as they're two of best in stadium ... need a break from early morning starts just to know your going to see your team play badly and probably lose that's a ridiculous scenario for home games hence reason probably lots St holders don't go....anyway i will watch the goals on ssn on board as my iptv as failed on this trip 1st time ever... the one thing simply do not understand is tans blind faith in expecting to hire sub standard coach time time again when he sees clubs fight for promotion after hiring decent coach? Riza will take us down as he is not good enough as a 1st team coach ok as a coach but not 1st team level. ... The squad is good enough to stay up His 1st 6 games showed that we just need a decent coach to sort out the players...
Div 1 beckons and not just for the 1 season but many I fear .
