MY VIEW: CITY COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER START AND B

MY VIEW: CITY COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER START AND BATTLED AS A TEAM FOR 90 PLUS MINS AND DESERVED THE 3PTS.

Cardiff get their First Away Win of the season.

The win has been a long time coming and the Faithful Cardiff fans got their reward for being their today.

Watford might have had the majority of possession, but fair play Cardiff created the best chances.

For me Cardiff players played like a team and all finally battled.
Let’s have more of this.

Ashford and Robinson outstanding for City.

Cardiff City up to today had been once again on one if their Worst run of games in their 125 year History, NO Wins in 8 Championship games, worse than atrocious.

Watford had been Winning, drawing, losing, very inconsistent, Watford had a very decent home record.

Now for 2 home games Coventry and Watford.

FIRST-HALF: What a start , 1min GOAL! Watford 0-1 Cardiff City (Robinson 1)
Dream start for Cardiff and what a finish it is from the deadly Robinson. O'Dowda fizzes a low cross into his compatriot, he takes a touch with his right and fires a low shot into the bottom corner.
Fantastic finish and he runs straight to Riza to give him a hug on the touchline.

Watford took control and pressurised Cardiff.

GOAL! Watford 1-1 Cardiff City (Chakvetadze 38)
A decent cross is played in by Vata and it misses everyone until it ends up at Chakvetadze's feet. He takes a touch and smashes past Alnwick.
It was so easy it was coming, 20 mins of Watford pressure

4mins later YES
GOAL! Watford 1-2 Cardiff City (Robinson 42)
Goal! Robinson with another! from Willock to Ashford and bang Robinson

Cardiff finished the half off in control.

Watford had 75% more possession, but City had more shots on target.

SECOND-HALF: Watford once again more possession, But Robinson looked so dangerous.

65mins Tanner came in for Willock.

City did well and were creating chances.

73rd min: Bagan replaced Chambers.

Cardiff defended well and broke well.

Plenty of fouls from both sides.

88mins: Colwill and Meite came on for Ashford and O’Dowda

WATFORD 1 CARDIFF CITY 2

H-T 1-2

No one had a bad game today, finally dropped the 3 at the back, Robinson played 10-15 yards further forward and very rarely dropped deep. It’s what we’ve needed him to do for a long time. This system seemed to suit us, rinomota can’t go forward with the ball so we never had any width. We need to back it up now

I missed the game today, so correct me if I’m wrong here.
I heard Chambers had a good game. Was he moved further forward, in front of the back four, rather than than being in the defensive line?

Papering over massive cracks all today's win was. Yes a wins a win but it could of been a defeat with 28 percent of the ball in truth we took our chances today that was the difference. I expect players to give 100% that's what there paid for so won't be sucking any cocks over today's win.

For me if we don't carry on in to the next game this win mens nothing as we are still deep in the shit either way then if we don't for the next few games but we shall see.

Fair play I didn’t see that result coming. I didn’t go to the game as I just couldn’t be bothered to be honest. I don’t think we’ll get where we need to get to under Riza but fair play today that was a great result!
