" I love that sort of win "

Fair play to each and every one of them today.

They fought hard to get that win and did the ugly stuff well.

We didn't have much of the ball but we made the most of it when we did and defended relatively well.

Well done to all of those players who started the game, deserved the win for their effort.

I love that sort of win.

Not getting carried away though, it is only one win - but a good way to end 2024, which has been a bad year for City.

We all wanted 100 per cent and we got it at last .Ashford brought in that energy and we dug deep and got the result away from home .
As a fan that's the bench mark today now they must maintain that standard at a minimum.
Well done to the players and Riza and I hope the traveling fans enjoyed a good day out at last ..
Made my day well done City

It was certainly unexpected but that's the Championship for you. Both sets of players know that Cardiff have a good record against Watford - so maybe that played a part psychologically. If the Jacks had lost, I'd be on cloud nine now: shame.

Agree but it shows how important that win was. Gap would be getting frightening if we had lost.

Some rays of hope at last. Any win was needed to stop the rot. Robsinson led by example and great to see Ashford take his chance. Its huge in terms of not being cut off at the bottom (for now) but such a long way to go. Means nothing if we get beat by Coventry. We have to put a home performance now.

Rolled our sleeves up showed grit determination which we ain’t seen for long time chambers was great in new role ashford give plenty hard work tracking back also put a thought in their defenders with his pace which meant they could push right up into our half made it easer to get out without pace we just llocked in with no outlet dropping deeper and deeper this didn’t happen today Rinamhota to thought hard well deserved win

Yep, we beat a team in the play off places. I’ll take the good news, and that’s it. On to the next game.
