Ball Boys/Girls

I put this in the match thread & it probably got a bit lost with the excitement of a win nut someone mentioned ours a couple of games ago so I thought it was worth bringing up.

I've noticed that the Watford ball boys are very fast to get the ball back to a Watford player & extra can't be bothered to move quickly when it's our throw.

Someone needs to show this to our ball boys who act like they're not allowed to touch the ball, even when we're losing.

I remember Don Revie used to signal to someone to start calling the ball boys in one by one if they were winning in order for it to take longer for opposition (or home) throw ins to be taken.

Does it make much difference these days when the balls are on cones around the pitch?

It's not like the old days when the only way to get the ball was off a ball boy.

The ball boy could throw a ball that is on a cone to one of our players.

That extra second could make the difference so I understand where the OP is coming from

That's a fair point actually.

Don’t go there with throwings we take an age with throwings even when we have momuntum crying out quick throw na no chance Ng is the worest in the world for it when we behind he still doesn’t get it done until all our players are marked ,with throwings as well I think they shall try a long 1 into the box gives us extra chance of scoring as for ball boy girl perhaps it be quicker if they could take it

It has been creeping in at loads of clubs and needs to be clamped down on as it is an outside influence that can unfairly affect the game. I am sure some clubs train with their ball boys.
