No one can predict the future, that doesn’t mean we have to accept the present.

We go bust

We get another owner who is more of the same shite

We get another owner who is our saviour and the feel-good factor returns

That's it in a nutshell, isn't it?

As long as your happy with the way Tan is running the club, and you are currently enjoying the last few years, then its all good.

By the way, how is the weather out in Malaysia Vincent?

You were definitely part of the red or dead club!
F*ck Vincent Tan, nearly everyone let bygones be bygones for the past but he still treats us fans with utter contempt

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW BOSS [LAST POSTER] .
IM NO FAN OF TAN AND PROBABLY FOLLOWED CITY BEFORE YOU WERE BORN.
PUT YOUR HOUSE UP FOR SALE AND PUT YOUR MONEY INTO THE CLUB AND THEN TAN CAN SAIL INTO THE SUNSET . :banghead:

So because you have followed a team before someone was born automatically means you are far superior as a supporter than someone younger? Very odd.
There are buyers out there as teams get taken over every year for FAIR prices not some stupid numbers a maniac has made up, but if you are happy with this shit season in season out then you don't have to worry do you.

Ah yes let's not moan because football has been worse over 30 years ago, let's not want the club to achieve great things and be happy heading backwards at a rapid rate. Pointless even having a debate

Is watford worth £150m because thats the price quoted ? City worth as much easily if this is the case ... as always its worth what people willing to pay.... besides most city's debt is tans so he'd need to sell it for at least £125m to get most money back... not included 30m of dalmans money..... amount of money not made up the amount as been widely stated on here as club debts which means tans in reality

Sheff Utd have just been sold for quoted "just over £100M". They are a premier league yo-yo club who are looking like a 2/3 chance of going up.

If you think we're worth that same figure, the you're as loopy as Tan.

Also, the debt isn't Tan's, its the clubs. Its in black and white in our annual financial reviews.

As I am not a Malaysian finance expert but i image Vincent Tan Holdings go soemthing like this

Loans to Cardiff City Holdings £150 million
then on the asset side of the P&L Cardiff City Holdings £150 million.

Just pure speculation.

But you must always keep your eye on the asset value and the stadium and training grounds over the years has increased

As you said, you are not a finance expert. Assets (ground etc) are accounted in any annual financial review. You can google it and find it in minutes.

Stadiums tend to depreciate according to the accounts. They are not in demand like a terraced house in Pontypridd.
