Five team mini league at the bottom.

That’s all gone away hasn’t it.

3 points for a win anyone can get dragged in or anyone pull out with a couple of bad/good results.

Always get team go on bad run who think they're safe and a team goes on a run and pull away ... its that type of league

True.

Before they sacked Eustace in October, nobody thought Birmingham would have gone down.

Teams can just collapse in the second half of a season.

QPR were dead and buried now look at them.

Three wins for Oxford has pushed them up.

Portsmouth suddenly looking like a championship team.

Luton been dragged right down into it.

Unfortunately City looking like a League 1 team.

I agree that first half we looked okay but we should have been more than just the one goal ahead.

Then everything gets turned on it's head within three minutes of the start of the second half with the exact sort of individual mistake and then misfortune that is so typical of teams that get relegated.

Even with ten men we had decent chances to win the game but did you really believe that Meite, Willock or Tanner ever looked like putting away their chances?

There are 7 points from where we are now to 13th place - The key in this League put in a set of 5-6 results in a row .

Correct, Tony

The optimist in me feels we can win every game we play, whilst the pessimist in me believes any gap between us and safety is insurmountable. The truth is somewhere in between and I’m encouraged by recent form :ayatollah:

Theres still the proverbial free fall team that makes late entry into relegation fight.... said weeks ago we need 8 game unbeaten run to catch up on teams that have hot a gap between us? Last two games give reason to be optimistic but time is running out ..

No as dont think anyone are unpredictable enough to start losing enough games... although a team upto 13th
place are vulnerable.

Agree next two are crucial. After that it's Leeds away which we can probably write off.

Leeds are very good at home. Incessant.

Oxford are flying.

Ciaran Brown is being looked at now.

Not sure...bottom teams are actually playing well... there's a few in mid table looking over their shoulders...the way it's going the best of the bottom 3 will be about 8 points off the playoffs

I think there’s three leagues within the league.

Top tier Leeds, Sheff Utd, Burnley and Sunderland. Sunderland are hanging on in this one.

Second tier, Boro, Blackburn, West Brom and Watford.

The rest are pretty much even I think and anyone can get dragged in.

I think 48 points for safety.

Slightly disagree, although your basis is right.

I don't think Sunderland are hanging on - they should have beat Burnley away last night.

Plymouth I see as a level below everyone else. Their away performances are statistically one of the worst this league has ever seen. They are not a Championship club when it comes to away form, that's what will send them down.

But agree with the rest of your points.

The team we beat today got the hallmarks of the team that can be the one to slide into trouble? Not going on just today they've got away with some results and this is now 10 goals conceded in last 3 away games dont think scored in them either..
