To be fair, it was only £1.5m which shows how low their record transfer fee is.

But I worry we won't even spend that on a player this window.

We spent a bit in the summer didn’t we?

I’m sure you have seen Oxford have signed a striker. Linked to the Indonesian owners and has an average record in the Dutch league. Not quite a painter but still a strange one.

I know it's not totally accurate but according to transfer market we made a profit in the summer with the sale of mcguinness. I know free agents cost a bit in wages but we also lost loan players from last year so we really haven't invested anything by the looks

True.

Free agents do cost quite a bit.

El Ghazi must be on a decent wage. Waste of money that.

Where are our new recruits ?
Same as every january and games keep slipping by,
they had nothing lined up otherwise they would have been ready to go in dec and everything in place so that we could start early jan like quite a lot of clubs do ,
Or those that are organised,

Having to go through vincent tan on every move has killed off us moving on every transfer window and this has been the same since warnock left.

Monty window normally gets into full swing after fa cup because like city teams play non 1st squad players in it...... but we all know be lucky to sighn 3 players eventually! But agree if we need to go through tan that will delay or at worst stop loan deals as clubs won't wait for decisions..

Riza has identified Cardiff's blunt attack and lack of pace as two areas he wants to improve during the January transfer window.

The Bluebirds, who are second from bottom of the Championship, are among the division's lowest scorers.

Jones would certainly add speed to the attack, as his personal best 100m time is reportedly 10.9 seconds.

Cardiff have also been linked with a loan move for teenage Liverpool striker Jayden Danns, but Riza played down that speculation.

"We haven't had discussions regarding Jayden Danns at present," he added.

"But there are a list of players we are looking at."

A 3rd of a way through this month nothing yet threw the door,
and considering where we are in the league you would have expected something,
but its looking like following the same pattern,
silence till the end of the month so don' t tell me dalhman has taking note of the situation we are in,
but he will on the 28th of this month.

Not a lot of notice monty ! Simply because they know we need players but riza is indicating that its problematic getting anyone in and if cant get jones in who can we get? ...... so cannot see march making any difference as they know fans feelings now.
