Cardiff, incredibly, were unsuccessful in their appeal against Callum Robinson's red and as a result he misses today and two more games.

It means Cardiff go without a recognised striker, with Tanner, Colwill and Ashford the front three. Meite and Kanga remain on the bench.

Andy Rinomhota keeps his place at right back despite Perry Ng's return. Four defenders on the bench shows how light City are in attacking options.

I hope our defenders have seen what they need to do when an opposition player raises their arms anywhere near them in the future.

Knowing our luck it'll be the City player who gets sent off for provocation!

The authorities were never going to go against a novice ref in his first game in charge at Championship level.

If there is to be consistency expect to see another three to four red cards at least in the Championship today for challenges similar to Robinson's on Wednesday.

Won't happen of course.

How can so called ex players judge this was. Ref card. It's plainly obvious it was no elbow or intentional

Got to believe the panel didn't want to undermine the officials 1st time in charge... but that shouldnt have mattered it was not a red card and that's what they should have taken into account ..not refs feelings..at least back for swans

Let's just hope he doesn't get sent off there again.

It was as a very soft dismissal but it was never going to overturned…his elbows were raised and there was contact

It was a harsh red but Robbo is experienced enough to know you can’t do that it was a bit stupid of him

Yes knowing their cheating tactics of diving feigning injury could have 4 players sent off....
