I think we have got to be pleased that result.
I was worried after the first 20 minutes that we would be thrashed. They took an early lead and seemed to be cutting through our defence with ease.
But then Calum Chambers equalised with a brilliant finish.
After that we battled well and put in some great defending. Alnwick only really had one meaningful save to make.
Doak was quality for them but we handled him well in the second half.
Goutas and Colwill had chances to win it but we can't be disappointed with a draw away at Middlesbrough - they're 5th in the league.
My MOTM was Andy Rinomhota

Good team performance, something to build on. Honestly think couple players we could be a bit more dangerous team

Great point.
Very good defending.
A striker will make a massive difference.

Great defensive battling point. We need this effort form and organisation if we are going to pull out of the mire.

Great point, well done lads

Great point.
Boro away is not an easy game, and they have a good squad, even with all their injuries!
We just got to continue to build on these results now.

Gone from easy to beat to being resilient and it's a great step forward.
We need to keep it up and try and start learning to win games now .
Great result today think any city fan would except a draw before the game

Can see your point but thought he gave the ball away in dangerous areas a little too much.
But he had a great game otherwise, can see the argument for him being MOTM.

Very good fighting effort. Amazing hpw hard it can be to beat a team whrn 11 players are working hard to close down. Colwill did at least close down a bit, but how did he miss the goal from a couple of yards out when unmarked and he didnt need to jump?!? Huge miss.
How come none of our attackers can head the ball????

I'm not a fan of Sio. We're not as much of a threat and very safe with him in. He's doing a job and likely a reason why we're picking up points but with the ball, he's very safe and negative.
I'd like to see Chambers and Ralls, with Robertson at 10.

Excellent point and deserved

Good result up there today especially without a recognised striker and a good following to.

Shame he didn’t get the goal at the end. But TBH I thought he stepped into the role of a false 9 and made a decent job of it, overall. And he is winning headers now. Compared to not even jumping previously.
Pressed well and tracked back to keep them under pressure.
