Calum Chambers

It's funny, some have been saying all season that he should be moved into midfield.

I had my doubts, despite him doing well there for Fulham, but he's been brilliant there since being moved into that position.

He's working well with Siopis and Robertson.

Great goal today as well.

I was in that boat as well i thought he'd be too slow, but Sio in a double pivot with a sitter and wow, what a difference!

Keep chambers where he is doing OK

Doing really well in that position and it's made a huge difference to the performances of Siopis too.

Long may it continue.

He's great with the ball and tries to get us up the pitch, as opposed to around our back 4.

His passing is what’s impressed me most. Deep lying playmaker.

Man of match for me. Jeep him there we have 3 other better centre backs

What a strike today too. Not an easy finish! I hope he stays in this new role and that Daland continues to improve and settle as a centre half. I am still not sure about him but to be fair its a new league and a higher level for him.

He's been brilliant in DM. He's calm on the ball and is passing is better than Siopis but him being there allows Sio to be freer, his chasing down today was fantastic.

I never rated Chambers as CB, Ned your right MF is His position, he's doing well there.

I agree. I've been one of his most vociferous critics as a CB but his performance to date as holding midfield have been really impressive. If Chambers can achieve consistency in that role for us he will move from fans chump to become a fans favourite!!

My son played against him when he was in the academy for Southampton Chambers never played CB then and was either cm or wingback He was a player who always stuck out as between him and Shaw now Man Utd were clearly the two best players in the academy teams we played at the time
He is a CM for me all day long who can fill in at the back if need because of injuries
